This beautiful ANTIQUE log cabin home with three bedroom two bath was SPARED from the fires of Gatlinburg. This home is nestled in a beautiful secluded location so you feel like you have the Smokies to yourself. A private drive with ample parking and room to turn around, the home sits amid the woods. The deck wraps half way around the house where you will find a hot tub. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and is decorated with antiques and comfortable furniture. With a half-bath off the living room it has a fully-furnished kitchen. The dining room table seats six. Off the kitchen is a full-size washer The first floor bedroom has a king-size bed and door leading to a great-sized bathroom with a full bath and a shower. There is also upstairs a huge bedroom with GAS fireplace two wing chairs, dresser, vanity, king bed and two night stands and still room to dance! Off the bedroom is a full-bath with shower.

We had a fantastic stay at this mountain cabin! The property was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The air conditioning worked great as it was very hot during our stay, and the living area furniture and porch seating offered plenty of space for everyone to unwind.The host communication was top-notch from start to finish. We especially loved the little touches, like the wonderful coffee bar, and spent hours enjoying the views from the porch—which included spotting quite a few pileated woodpeckers right from the property! While we didn't see any bears directly at the cabin, we did spot several on our drive up/down the mountain, which added to the fun wildlife experience.Cabin is centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. No issues getting an Uber for a night out on the town.Everything about our stay was smooth and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain retreat!

Great place to stay- close to both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Communication with host was fantastic and timely. We loved the fireplace in the upstairs bedroom- so cozy!

This home was perfect for a friends get away! The rooms were so cozy and the fireplaces were the perfect touch. We had everything we needed and the location to Gatlinburg was awesome! I will definitely try to stay here again!

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Only thing I would suggest would be for outside lighting around the hot tub. It was very dark at night getting to the hot tub and back to the house.

The home and deck are lovely. The roads in and out of the neighborhood and the driveway are not for the faint of heart. I think at least a mention of how tricky the driving is would be advisable as not all vehicles/drivers would be able to navigate the sharp curves and very steep hills. Many of the curvy roads with steep drop-offs have no guard rail or any safety features.Overall, this is a beautiful, well-appointed home. I just thought some travelers might struggle with the driving aspect.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

the place was very orderly and clean, with nice appliances and fully furnished with anything you may need while staying. the view of the mountains was amazing from the back porch as well. would highly recommend staying there to anyone i know.

The living room fireplace would not come on when we tried to use it but then randomly come on by itself and the only suggestion I would have is more light around hot tub. Love the cabin and our stay was wonderful.

Wonderful stay at this charming cabin

We enjoyed ringing in the New Year at this cabin. It was charming and not too bad of a drive up into the mountain. All amenities listed were available, and we enjoyed the antique decor and cozy feel.

Perfect Stay

A really lovely cabin in a secluded neighborhood, but close to everything! It was easy to get to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or the national park from here. We really enjoyed leaving the hustle and bustle of downtown behind to come back to this peaceful little mountain spot. The cabin was well stocked with anything you could need to enjoy your stay!

Lovely Smokey Mountain cabin. Great deck. Love the gas fireplaces. Kitchen was nicely updated and ready to cook Lovely property. Very relaxing and quiet. Steep driveway a little intimidating at first but expected in a mountain cabin. Family loved it. We will return next year

Cozy cabin

We enjoyed staying at this property. It's very cozy and welcoming. There's plenty of room for the whole family. The owner was very helpful with all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Fall Getaway

We loved this cabin. We stayed for 5 nights. The cabin was just as listed. The decorations in the house were great. My husband saw a momma bear and cubs right down the road from cabin.

Perfect Family Getaway!

This cabin is perfect for a family gathering! It's the right distance in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so you get the best of both worlds. The cabin has tons of charm and character! We absolutely loved our stay! The host was very easy to work with, and responsive to questions. Definitely recommend!!

Anniversary Trip

This was the third year my wife and I have stayed at Dogwood Lodge. We have found this to be the best maintained cabin we have rented in the Smokeys Cabin is well furnished, clean, appliances all work, furniture is very comfortable. The manager is very easy to communicate with, giving excellent information regarding check in. The location is great being between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Great Cabin for the Fourth of July

We really enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July. It was a short drive to town and accommodated all of our needs. Larry was very nice and quick to respond when we had any questions. The driveway was a little steeper than us out of towners are used to and its a sharp turn in, but other than that we had no issues.

3 generation family vacation

Everything was as advertised and we had a wonderful stay. I did have a quick question prior to the trip and Larry responded quickly. The cabin was conveniently located to activities and restaurants but secluded and private. The trip included 3 generations of family and the set up ( 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs) allowed for privacy for the family. We would highly recommend staying at Dogwood if you are in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.

Bears!

My friends and I met up for a girl's weekend. The cabin was exactly as pictured and described. We had everything we needed and cooked most of our meals in the cabin. Best of all, we got to spend about 30 minutes with a mama bear and three baby bears! It was a wonderful and memorable experience. The host provided excellent communication. Would highly recommend.
