The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Cash is not accepted. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.

Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. The nearest airport to Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is Branson Airport (BKG) which is 9 miles by car respectively.

Hence, if you have any concerns, our office are open 24 hours to respond to your requests. For here at Wilderness Club at Big Cedar we ensure that your stay is comfortable and well-served to your satisfaction.

Nice property

Even though there was an attepmt at a timeshare pitch (I do NOT set through or appreciate the pushiness of them), check in was ok. The rest of the stay was great. Beautiful property, good food & nice accomodations.

Wonderful stay at Wilderness Club

We always enjoy staying at Big Cedar with all the amenities and activities. The lodge is well equipped and comfortable for our family.

Lovely location

Beautiful location so much to do we couldn’t get it all in. Loved watching hunger games by the sandy “ beach” all of the pools and water attractions and mini golf. We had an unfortunate incident on Monday evening while golfing. There was a group ahead of us who were like two holes ahead. On the final hole, only two of us left to finish and a worker came up and said ma’am you need to leave now! He was hostile. It was after ten , which we later realized was after hours. He never said anything prior. It was his tone ! I said are you serious, thinking it was a joke. He said leave !! Now!!! We had two young kids who were scared. Upon leaving the area, my husband saw him stomping around putting the flags back in the flags into the holes, which were out when we arrived, and wondered if he was upset and blamed us. Most everyone else was so kind, our was just a bummer to have that happen and be a takeaway the kids keep talking about. That and the buzzard bar chicken that was on the Caesar salad. It was old and rubbery and dry- the kids described at cat food. The server was wonderful and kind and took it off the ticket but it was strange- not the caliber we are used to for the venue. We loved the setting and the room, the balcony and all of the details and touches to make us feel at home. Just disappointing.

Overall the Wilderness Club is great, however the timeshare rental management company that actually manages the booking (Resort Rental Pros) is awful. They called the day we were checking in to inform us our room was no longer available (1 bedroom condo) and instead offered a 40% discount on a studio. We agreed since we had no other option and after 3 phone calls upon returning home, have been unable to receive a refund. While checking in, the Wilderness Club front desk mentioned this happens frequently with Resort Rental Pros and that just the day before they had to turn a couple away completely due to this situation and no rooms left to offer them. All of that to say, if your plans are flexible and you're willing to risk not being able to stay at this property, the actual resort is great and it's nice to have access to the same amenities as the much pricier Big Cedar Lodge rooms.

Amazing Thanksgiving stay at Big Cedar!

The Big Cedar property is decorated so beautifully for the holidays, and our accommodations were exactly as described. We loved having the full kitchen and dining table for meals. The view from our balcony was beautiful, and the fireplace in the living room is so cozy. The pull out couch with the provided linens was perfectly comfortable for our kids. We highly recommend this place!

Pleasantly surprised

We loved Big Cedar Lodge! We stayed at the Wilderness Club timeshare share, which sits just west on the same property. The picture is not the same but turned out fine. Very clean with easy access to everything, via shuttles or trails. We only made it to one pool areas (lazy river, Brushy Creek) because we spent our time on the lake, Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, Top of The Rock and the strip for a show. Highly recommend it all. Dogwood canyon - rent a bike, it’s worth it otherwise you might not walk to Arkansas (3.2 miles in) and the best waterfall is there. We saw the Haygoods and loved them. We rented a golfcart at Top of the Rock and took our time on the nature path. We skipped eating dinner (too expensive up there), but worth a drink or two. We stayed 3 full days and I wish it were four. We had a great trip.
