Crab Cottage

Crab Cottage is a dog-friendly, little unassuming cottage right on the beach. Walk in the front door, and you will see gorgeous views out the west windows. To your left are a small but efficient kitchen and dining area. The rest of the downstairs has the bathroom and living room with gas fireplace and a full-size Murphy bed. A narrow fixed ladder with rail takes you upstairs to the loft, where two additional double beds will be found (ladder weight limit 200 lbs).

The backyard has a great deck and a firepit. And of course, miles of beach. This home is perfect for the fisherman, surf kayaker, or beach bum, and is ideal for relaxing. There is a small television with DVD player, so bring your favorite movies or games and relax the night away. This home is all about getting away and spending quality time with friends and family. Parking is limited, with space for a vehicle on the south side of the home, and one in front.

Great little cottage right on the ocean. The price is good for what it is, but if I got renovated, they could charge up to 500 a night for this place.

The home has a great view of the ocean, and it has great beach access. This is the only redeeming quality. The WiFi and password provided to me via text and email were incorrect, and one has to find the correct info on the fridge. The front door does not lock, so we secured it by using a broom. I called vacasa about this, and no one ever called me back. The kitchen is poorly supplied ( no oven mit, no proper kitchen knives, no proper cutting board, no extra garbage bags, dish soap does not have suds). I would recommend bringing most of your food; there is a Moclips convenience store (hot and cold food) that has very friendly staff, but the choices are somewhat limited. The light switches are hard to find. The toilet seat does not stay up for the male users. The beds are actually comfortable and the shower water is also nice and hot.

This space had some great qualities and fit our need for a long weekend. Over all is was clean- could use a deep cleaning (saw a few spider webs etc) but compared to near by rentals this spot is outdatedPros:Basically on the water Heat was great Bedding is cute Dog friendly Lots to do on a rainy day All the kitchen items worked Cons:Shower-if you are over 5’5” you will look down on the shower head Desperately needs an update/remodel Small -loft is mostly for kids Batteries and remotes for the TV were dead… We had to use our own batteries for a flashlightAlso.. not a single flashlight, set of matches, lighter or candle to be found in the place (I get the candle thing but lighter or matches for the grill and fire pit would’ve been nice)

Cozy, clean, and close to the beach!

Loved it - can walk right out the back door to the beach. The cottage is clean, warm and cozy and fully equipped with anything you’d need for a short or longer stay. We look forward to coming back!

Adorable crab cottage

Very affordable cottage right among the beach grass and beach. Quiet despite close proximity to other cottages. Excellent heat, WiFi and amenities. Our Shiba Inu dog is now in love with the beach.

Overall this was the perfect little cottage to stay in. Only complaint is there was no internet and service on phones in the cottage was spotty at best. We would have been more safe/comfortable if the internet would have worked.

Great location on the beach. Home is extremely dated and needs serious renovation. Stairs up to loft beds is scary for older people. Beds were comfortable. Electric panel needs to be updated. Beautiful view and quiet neighborhood,

Relaxing

This little cottage was a perfect getaway for a much needed escape from the daily grind. I was very happy to have such a perfect view of the waves, even closed up you could hear the sounds of the ocean. A summer visit would be amazing, the back yard is perfect.

Great place, would stay again :)

Great place to stay, and would definitely stay again. Really nice place and a really nice area out back with fire pit, and easy access to the beach. They have a nice grill. Pictures and description need updates on Vrbo, due to TV being bigger and better than the description, and it also has a Roku, which is great. Needs a sign on side of the fridge, to point out the light switch hidden behind it.

Little Beach Cottage

We loved this place. Tiny, old and a little rough around the edges, sure, but everything you need is there, is functional, and is as advertised. It's cozy and most importantly, you won't find a better location and view. The ocean is Pacific Ocean is your backyard.

Nice place in a nice location

Crab Cottage was a nice place for us to vacation with 2 of our grand children. Served our needs but does need some cleaning.

We came in February so we knew that the weather would probably not be ideal. It rained a weekend but the location of this cottage so close to the beach, we were able to watch the waves
