We have been going to PCB for years. Its getting harder to find reasonably priced places to stay but this was great. Right on the white sand beach and great pools also.

Ruined Trip

I would not recommend this condo it’s old everything is broken this was a total nightmare we didn’t have Ac so we were moved off the shore which is the main reason I booked this condo. We got moved to a house that wasn’t clean as well and had many stairs which one of our guests is handicapped. Overall not happy don’t rent with Vacasa

Dunes of Panama

Let’s start off with the place was cheap. But many downfalls. There is construction going on and it’s like a chainsaw noise on the balcony starting at 8 am. When we called Vacasa to complain, we never got a call back. We wish someone would have communicated this before our stay. The condo isn’t the greatest. Broken shades, master bed had stuff propping it up because it was broken, there was a toe nail in the bed on arrival, and there is a chair on the porch that is all taped up. Defiantly not the greatest. More upset with Vacasa for never calling back!

Awesome experience

The view says it all. The access to the balcony from the master bedroom and the living room was especially nice. Provided, was paper towel, laundry/dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and soap. There were plenty towels, No Blankets except what was on the bed. No condiments, coffee or tea, sugar, etc. Don't expect spices or any cooking ingredients. There was a basic Mister Coffee brewing machine. The Oven didn't work as well. The unit sits close to the elevator shaft so you get a long of wind tunnel noise. If you are not a light sleeper it shouldn't affect your stay. Overall the stay was very relaxing.

Great views.

Place was nice and clean, only drawbacks for me was you can hear the elevator faintly and the curtains in the master did not shut so 6am the sun makes sure your awake. The view of the gulf was awesome.

Prestay

Very nice. A few minor issues, broken shade in master bedroom. This created a lack of privacy and allowed to much light in before we were ready to start our day. Was hard to find unit but the property staff guided us.

Needs updating

Everything in the apartment needs to be updated; furniture, appliances, decor, etc. None of the furniture matches, the refrigerator was dirty, the master bathroom shower doors are stuck and very hard to open and the trash bin hadn't been cleaned in several visits. The blinds are broken and very hard to close or open and some pieces were completely missing. Needs some serious attention. The building was conveniently located, the pool facilities and area were clean and maintained and the outdoor bathrooms were nice to have close by. Wouldn't visit this specific apartment again though.

Awful, filthy , gross

View was great and pool ! Condo ABSOLUTELY A NEVER AGAIN ! Place had 3 forks, broken disposal, garbage can, coffee table, light hanging out of ceiling in shower, Filthy top to bottom Beds and pillows were plastic Fitted sheets gross COULDN’t OFF THE BED ! Put towels down to sleep on! No xtra blankets Blinds missing We want a full refund , owners need to spend some time there themselves . We only stayed two days . We visited other condos in building and they were so nice ! So disappointing. Kids and adults were so disgusted. None of us even wanted to shower that’s how bad . Still waiting on a phone call back to resolve this . Talking over text before our stay and up until we left and now no one is communicating with us ! I don’t even want to give it 1 star .

Key pad was an issue and it took maintenance 2 hours before they responded.

Overall was a very good experience other than the check in and not being able to get into our condo for several hours.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful condo - very nice location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked and view was beautiful. I've stayed at the Dunes of Panama many times before - it is a lovely property. There were a couple "smeary" tables and a few dead bugs - the cleaning service needs to be a bit more thorough. A few minor suggestions - a 10 digit number for the front door is way too long. Most other places I've stayed at are 4 digits. Take down all the signs - it seemed everywhere we looked, there were signs telling us what we could and couldn't do. The info is important - put it in a folder and leave on the kitchen table. You could also include instructions on how the TV/remotes work. As I said, these are minor suggestions. I would stay here again!

Great balcony with a view

We really liked the condo’s layout. It had plenty of room for 2 couples. The kitchen was well stocked of pans & other items. The balcony was spacious & very nice. However the tub in the master bathroom had mold around the rim & the jets. Several outlets had only one of the plugs working. The recliner in the living room definitely needs to be replaced. A couple of blankets would have been nice to have had. The 10 digit code was difficult to use at first.

Horrible experience

We didn't have a good stay. the apartment was very dirty. We asked for a cleaning and we didn't have it. the bathtub was clogged flooding the entire apartment. the mattresses were in bad shape, the springs were broken, it was impossible to sleep, especially the Master mattress. we had to buy air mattresses to sleep on. the master bathroom lights, the one above the shower was broken and comes out all the time. All in all, it was a horrible experience.

Disappointed

We were very disappointed in this condo. It definitely needs some love. The master bed was terrible. It had a indention in the middle of the bed that made you roll toward middle. I think there was 3 lamps that worked in the whole condo. The light fixture in the master shower was hanging. The furniture on the balcony definitely needs to be replaced. They had duct tapped one of the chairs to keep it from falling through. As you look at all the other condos, they had much nicer outdoor furniture. That is very important to us because we love spending a lot of our time on the balcony. The living room furniture was not up to par. The TV screen was not full screen and there was no way to reset it. As I was sitting in the living room watching tv some of the ceiling “popcorn” fell in my lap. I’m assuming it was from people walking above us but ceiling needs to be redone. Also when you turn the water on in the master bedroom sink there is a clicking noise in the wall. There was nothing that was so terrible that I need to call right away. This place just needs a major update and a lot of lovin. It has potential to be great. It does have a great view.

Average condo, enjoyable stay

The condo itself was average - could use a lot of updating. Hasn’t been updated for years. The pool and beach were ideally located, and the cafe near the pool was very convenient and offered high quality food.
