Comfortable and Spacious Family Vacation Home

This quiet cul-de-sac home is located on a large private lot just a short stroll away from the newly renovated Glaze Meadow Pool facility. The Glaze Meadow Golf Course is also located near by. With over 2200 sq. ft. of room, it is an ideal place for families to get away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. On the second floor you will find two large bedrooms with queen size beds and vanity baths along with one full bathroom. The upstairs open loft area has a big screen TV, DVD and VCR to cozy up with at night. Downstairs you will find one bedroom containing bunk beds and the other with a queen size bed and the second full bath. In addition, the main floor contains a spacious kitchen, living area, wood burning stove, a large Bluetooth speaker and a hot tub on the deck. With Mt. Bachelor in close proximity and Hoodoo Ski Area just a short distance up the road, our home is superb for those winter ski trips or summer time fun.


The Ranch:: Black Butte Ranch is a unique resort. It is owned and managed by the BBR Association, (those people that have purchased home sites) and offers a wide array of indoor and outdoor activities.

We were here for a quick weekend and it worked out great. House is dated, but location was great. Hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of hiking. Quiet neighborhood with large back deck.

Host was very welcoming, and access instructions were easy. House was solid and layout works well for two families. Home could use some updating and maintenance, but everything worked as advertised. Checkout process could be improved, given that we were asked to do laundry and dishes (which is standard), but also shut off water to the house prior to leaving. Additionally, I wouldn’t expect to need to haul our trash out upon checkout. All in all, would recommend but there are some oddities.

Hello Janelle, It sounds like you enjoyed your stay. We know of the updates needed and are working on addressing those as funding allows:). With respect to the water shut off, it is essential so our home doesn't flood during the winter if a pipe were to burst and we thank you for attending to this. In addition, Black Butte Ranch does not offer trash service, thus the need to bring the trash to the dump site on the ranch. These things do make for a little different experience when visiting Black Butte Ranch. Perfect Family Getaway Home

The house has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay without having to worry about bringing younger children into a muesum type enviroment. I would definetly stay here again.

Big comfy cabin

Thus was a great place to relax and kick back with friends and family. Good selection of board games and the hit tub was wonderful. I would stay here again for sure.

great house in great location

We've really enjoyed our time in Black Butte and have stayed in this home multiple times. The house works really works really well for 2 families and is in a fantastic location. we end up spending most of our time on the huge deck which is a lovely outdoor living space.

Great summer vacation home

Property was well set up for our family vacation. The home was well equipped with all of the amenities we needed to have a very successful trip. The home was very comfortable. The owner was very responsive to all of our needs and was very accessible. I would recommend this property for a family vacation.

fun weekend trip, nice functional cabin

only hiccup was a driveway full of snow but with a phone call it was plowed courtesy of the owner after a few hours had a nice time
