Ocean/pool front condo on Bolongo Bay

Maureen and guests, the items you reported here are not for the personally owned condo interior but for the overall complex. The water and sewer are controlled by the island utilities and complex (not within control of the owner/representative). Everything is always done to accommodate as best as possible when there is any loss of a utility, in this case, there was a brief disruption / repair during holiday timing. The individual condo itself is fully furnished and accurately pictured and described for this listing that you selected. Each condo is individually owned/maintained, and we oversee several at this location since 2003 with many happy stays year over year. Having this 2BR/2BA, prime oceanfront, with a full kitchen, W/D, large balcony, and walk out level to the seaside pool and short stroll to 3 restaurants is a hard find here. You'll find most condo complexes here are 1980s but they are heavy-duty built to endure the weather elements. The rainier than usual off-season this year didn't enable exterior painting etc but its in the plans when occupancy slows down (to not impact guests/balconies/entrances etc). Sorry to hear there was any concern; still hopeful you had a wonderful vacation in America's paradise.

We are sorry to hear of any inconveniences. We provide so many ways to contact us (phone/cell, email, text, VRBO portal, etc), and really wishing you had let us know during your stay vs waiting until after you departed and posted a review for us to learn of any concerns. Each condo is provisioned by it's individual owner and confirmed to have necessities, but we have added more baking cookware. It is possible that with larger parties renting multiple condos that a baking sheet ended up next door - it can happen but wish we had known. There were dish cleaning cloths provided in the kitchen drawer with pot holders. The complex security lights are not within control of the owner and haven't had any complaints with years of rentals, but will let owner know that you recommend more enhanced window coverings. Have also let housekeeping know you had a concern; also not something we receive any complaints, as our staff maintains several of the premier condos for this oceanfront location. It's been a more rainy winter season and know it placed families inside much more. If anything, please contact a VRBO host so that they know during the stay to have a chance to remedy and optimize your vacation - that's what hosting is all about and enabling affordable accommodations and many household amenities over the very expensive hotels (that don't have kitchens or even this proximate of an oceanfront location).

Thank you for staying with us. So glad you enjoyed your St. Thomas vacation. The condo is as pictured and described. Mim's is open only for dinner hours and Mr John is a cherished icon at our overall property. If you get the chance to meet and talk to him (or to Mim herself), it's such a blessing; just a wonderful soul. The condo is prime walk-out to the oceanfront pool with lots of loungers, umbrellas and access down and over to Bolongo bay. Very convenient. We don't hear much about any concerns for Mim's because most families are exploring or dining in or out during those few hours that the restaurant serves delicious dinners right at the ocean.
