Modern / Historic Loft on Main Street B

If you have been looking for the a perfect, unique place to stay in the Johnson City / Asheville area, you have found it. Our downtown loft is located in the quaint town of Erwin, Tennessee. This Main Street loft is in the historic downtown and has been recently renovated. This historic building was built in 1904. We (Jason and Julie) bought this beautiful historic building in the Spring of 2017 and finished the renovations in the Fall 2018. The loft is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and new hardwood floors. It is 15 minutes from Johnson City and 40 minutes from Asheville, NC. It is close to many outdoor activities including the Nolichucky River, the Appalachian Trail, Rocky Fork State Park and the Erwin Linear Trail (greenway).

Main Street Loft B has a truly unique, historic, downtown feel placed in the Tennessee mountains. You will want to find a time to experience this special place!

The lofts are on the second floor of a historic building with a separate entrance. There is a restaurant located on the first floor of the building.

There were no windows I the living space; however, this could not be helped. The furniture in the living are needs improvement. The sofa sinks so low, standing is difficult, the chair too stiff. Basically the apartment was furnished like a dorm room with furniture of marginal quality. The location is great located in downtown.

Modern rustic feeling loft. Clean cozy and close to everything. Quiet. Lots of stairs to climb to get in but worth it. Beds are very comfy. Hosts are very accommodating and responsive

Adorable and convenient!

This loft is spacious and beautiful. It is conveniently located in downtown Erwin. The host was pleasant and easy to work with and I had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in downtown Erwin.

Nice getaway

My stay was to visit family in the surrounding area. My mother and I were the only ones staying at the VRBO. It was the perfect size for us. The location does have 28 stairs to access/exit the property, but it was no problem for us. We hope to stay here again!

Great spot for fall, early spring and winter but one room did not have AC. Extremely uncomfortable for July for us! Those of us who are hot natured.Shower head not very powerful.Lots of steps to climb to get to the apartment. I would not recommend for older adults over 70.

Great spot when visiting family in Erwin

It's so nice to have a lovely sanctuary of our own when we're in town to visit family in Erwin. Love the modern appeal of the place, and the bed in the main bedroom was quite comfy. Will definitely stay there again!

Enjoyed staying in downtown Erwin at the cute loft apartment. Location was great for our trip. Check-in was a breeze. Owners were great and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Urban feel in rural town

We had a great time staying at the Loft. Location was ideal as we were in for a wedding and had events between USA Raft and Johnson City. The loft was well appointed with all the amenities you need. If you plan to cook the kitchen is large and has all the things you need to make a full meal. Beds were comfy, bathrooms great and the built has a washer and dryer which is a convenience I was not expecting. Town town Erwin is cute. You are close to food places a bakery a tap room etc. The owners did a beautiful job on redoing the space. Only down side, if you are traveling with another couple, plan to all go to sleep at same time because the loft is open at the ceiling so you can hear folks talking in kitchen living space and the other bedroom.

Perfect Place

Julie and Jason's property was absolutely perfect for my extended stay! I stayed at the Lofts on Main Street for 11 weeks and can honestly say this place had everything I needed. It was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked with essential items needed during any stay. The hosts always responded quickly to my questions and were extremely hospitable. I absolutely loved staying at this property and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Erwin or any of the nearby towns.

The perfect loft for our family visit

The loft on Main Street was so very clean and tidy. Communication was excellent and checking in and out was easy! The beds were super comfortable and we found everything we needed. We love the exposed brick and sliding barn doors. Next time we come up to visit family, we will definitely stay at the loft again.
