Just steps from the lake, with a beach and dock area - it also has a pool, hot tub, kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards.

Very private, lakefront home situated just feet from the water's edge. The house sits at the end of a half mile driveway on wide area of private lake frontage with six acres of privacy behind you. Built in the 1900s, the house has been totally updated and remodeled yet remains true to the old Adirondack feel.

Kitchen has been remodeled completely in 2019 with new appliances, cabinets, heated floors and countertops. Its a chef's dream with plenty of prep space for those large family meals!

Upstairs there are 6 bedrooms, including the huge "Church Room" with a King Size bed, that boasts a beautiful stained glass window; the "Cedar Room" with a California King Bed; two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms; as well as two smaller bedrooms - one with a bunk bed. There are also two more bathrooms upstairs. All bathrooms have been remodeled in 2019 - 2020.

Downstairs is a huge cathedral ceiling family room with skylights, a playroom and breakfast nook on the enclosed porch area, a huge kitchen with a separate laundry area, and a dining room that seats 12 people comfortably at the incredible dining room table!

The house is in Willsboro, on Lake Champlain. One town south is Essex - where you can catch a ferry to Vermont, or do some antiquing in this beautiful quaint village. Only 20 miles North is Plattsburgh, with grocery stores, super stores, and a mall and movie complex. Great hiking trails close by and further afield at Whiteface Mountain and at home of the 1980 Winter Olympics, Lake Placid. This is not an investment property; it has been our family home for many years, and now (after moved away) we return for a few weeks each summer. What that means is that it is extremely well-equipped, with high grade pots and pans, fine cutlery, a wide range of staples ranging from spices to sauces to flour and sugar (which guests are welcome to use), and a home lovingly cared for and maintained.

Unlike some other rentals, renting our home is not an anonymous transaction. Upon arrival we will meet you and walk you through the house, point out nearby amenities, and answer any questions you might have. We are available to you 24/7 for any needs that arise, and will also personally check you out at the end of your stay.
