Just a short walk to enjoy 600 ft of private beach at Heritage Sands and 300 ft. of beach at Haigis Beach, both on Nantucket sound, under a 2/10 mile walk. Leave the car in the driveway. This roomy 2 bedroom beach cottage, located on a sandy quiet dead end street great for kids, has 960 sq ft of space, offering extra room to relax in either the living room or family room, both with HDTVs and pull out sofa sleepers. The living room has a vaulted ceiling and skylight (LOFT IS NOT FOR TENANT USE), while the family room has a vintage pine board ceiling and tons of windows. Nautical décor and local photographs carry the beach theme throughout. The eat-in kitchen has white cabinets, glass top range, subway tile backsplash, and a breakfast bar. Hardwood floors throughout and recessed lighting in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioners and ceiling fans in the bedrooms ensure a good night sleep. Bathroom has a tub, pedestal sink, and washer/dryer. Step outside and you’ll enjoy a large brick patio with patio table/chairs/umbrella, and gas grill for outside dining. A beautiful & private landscaped yard with an enclosed outdoor shower provides an area to relax after the beach. For those who want to stay connected, WIFI and a Bluetooth stereo receiver are provided for your enjoyment.

Very nice Cape getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house fit the bill for us! It’s well situated and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and had all we needed, including a sunroom that we actually used as our living room. We had absolutely no problems. We know Martha Murray would have assisted us if we needed them as we’ve used them for a long time.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the house abs location but the cleaning between people could be better. There was playdough all on the floor from the family before us. There were old masks in the small trash cans. The bedroom had a urine odor.

We had to stop playing cornhole when it got dark.Furniture in the sunroom was very old and not very comfortable.Could not get any windows open, and sometimes its nice to let in some fresh air.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 23 Shirley Ave was a very convenient location for us. It had all the amenities as described. The walking distance to the beach was perfect as well as easy access to shopping and restaurants.The furniture was in need of cleaning and the storm doors were funky.We appreciated the cable TV and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils.We were very disappointed that on our last day Saturday. morning, we had no hot water to shower. It appeared that the hot water was suddenly turned off. As Saturday is a rental day we pay fully for, we expected hot water. Other than this issue, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Great little patio out back that provided some privacy. Had AC which was nice. A little dated but we thoroughly enjoyed the little cottage and look forward to renting it again next year.
