The shutters are amazing. The island seems super safe but the shutters make it feel even more secure and more importantly are excellent at blacking out all the bedrooms.

Gorgeous Property

The property manager was wonderful with communicating and allowed us to drop off our luggage early. We had a few maintenance issues with the house but the manager responded quickly to each of these. The home is beautifully appointed and has an amazing view. It’s walkable to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Overall an excellent vacation house.

Excellent vacation spot

This was a great house for a group of 4 couples for a relaxing vacation. The house is great with a fully supplied kitchen. The pool is wonderful. Easy access to plenty of bars/restaurants nearby but also off the beaten path. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful home/beautiful view/beautiful location. This house did not disappoint and was very accurate to the pictures. It’s located close to the beaches, nightlife and food market. We will be sure to book here next year!

Great house near Maho Beach

We loved our stay here. The views are gorgeous and the house was clean and exactly as described. Plenty of room for parking if you have a rental and easy enough to walk to the beach bars by Maho if you don’t feel like driving. Communication with the owner was easy and reliable. Only recommendation I’d have would be to replace/upgrade the pillows as they were all flat and not the most comfortable. Everything else was great!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Villa Alma

Villa Alma is a true slice of paradise. Pictures do not do it justice. The infinity pool overlooking Burgeaux Bay is breathtaking, and having direct beach access made every morning and evening magical. The villa is beautifully decorated, well-stocked, incredibly comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches. Each bedroom was a private retreat, and the maid service kept everything fresh and clean. Dining by the ocean and relaxing by the pool were so relaxing. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!Also, Stacey and the house keeper were both wonderful and made sure our family was well taken care of.

Well maintained.Great communication

Property was stunning. Had a chef for 2 meals . The food was excellent. Location is convenient to many restaurants.A short walk to Simpson Beach. Beach has bars and restaurants. You can also walk to the main marina have refreshments at the Yaght Club and almost touch multimillion $ yaghts as they come into the marina. Our stay was great! Would recommend.

Wonderful Property

This property is fabulous. Very Clean. Well stocked with everything you can imagine. Great location. Housekeeping services every other day. Views are unbelievable. We had a wonderful time, was difficult to even leave the property. We just wanted to relax all day there!

A perfect rental experience!

This was, by far, my best VRBO experience. The house is beautiful and comfortable, including the pool area. Stacey, our concierge, and John ensured we had the best experience, including a night with a personal chef, arrival massages for the moms and an amazing all-day catamaran trip. The house was a short walk to the beach and we went daily for snacks, drinks and an up close view of landing airplanes. We would return again in a heartbeat!

I left my heart at Villa Alma

The house was perfect for our family of 8 which included 7 adults and a 6 month old infant. The property manager/concierge provided a high chair and a crib which was perfect. Each of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom has its own air conditioning control which is helpful. The outdoor space was great and very comfortable. The views at the house are magnificent and we found it hard to leave the house to explore. The location is perfect -It’s a quick walk or drive to the beach and to a number of restaurants. The house is immaculate and the cleaning crew does an amazing job of cleaning the house. The only negative that we have is that the living room couch is not that comfortable. Otherwise this home is 100% perfect!

Wonderful Time - Gorgeous Property!

Our family of 5 stayed at Alma April 6-13 and it was a most exquisite time! The property is beautiful, well maintained and it was lovely just relaxing to the sounds of the waves with its beachfront location. My 7-year old daughter was thrilled that she could swim everyday in the pool especially with a very windy week for beachgoers. The property is located in the heart of the action - a quick walk to Maho beach and short drive to great restaurants, while providing a private & quiet respite. Stacey, the concierge was wonderful with coordinating stocking the villa prior to arrival, restaurant recommendations and transportation. House cleaning & replenishment of towels, toiletries were seamless as well as cleaning the pool. Overall a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!

Beacon Hill with kids and Grandma

We went to Alma Villa in November, we had a great time. The housekeeper and caretaker were available at all times. She even got us birthday decorations for our first night. The house was clean and had spices, pots, silverware, and everything you needed to cook a great meal. BBQ grill was outside as well. The laundry room was clean and has the necessary supplies. Only thing that was missing was a pool net to clean up a bit but that was a small thing. Pool was perfect for the kids and us to do some laps. Book this villa if you want to relax, be close to the Dutch side, the restaurants and watch the planes land by the airport.

The best group trip

My friends and I came to St Martin for a week and stayed at Alma. There were 7 of us and the property was great for us. It was exactly what you see in the listing. Our Concierge Stacey was in touch with me in advance to make arrangements before we arrived. She met us there upon arrival to show us the house and she was accessible throughout the week. We had one little glitch with the safe but Stacey was in contact with us the entire time until it was resolved. The pool was great! The location was actually right near the airport. There’s a breach bar right down the hill, a grocery store less than 5 minutes away and a strip of amazing restaurants near by as well (if you’re not looking to explore too much - although I highly suggest you do)! Great location for sure.

Fabulous House!!

Our family of 6 stayed at Alma for 9 nights and it was an excellent choice! The house is exactly as pictured and did not disappoint at all - it was beautiful and the view couldn't get any better! The rooms are very spacious and modern as well as the bathrooms in all rooms. The beds were a little too firm for our liking though, as was the sofa in the family room. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the little extras like spices, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, coffee filters that were available also. The pool was nice although having a pool net available would have been helpful to get small things out of the pool. The bug zappers were a big bonus also and needed! We loved the location and short walk to Maho Bay beach (great dinner at Tortuga!). Neighborhood felt safe also. And I can't forget to mention Stacey, our concierge - she was so helpful in setting up our car rental, boat trip, jet ski tour, stocking groceries and our chef dinner! (Definitely get a chef from Fabulous Feasts - it was the best dinner on the island!). Also having a house keeper come to clean and straighten every few days was so helpful with teenagers! Thank you for a wonderful stay at Alma and your beautiful island!

Amazing Holiday

We stayed at this property April 21-26 and have nothing but positive things to say. From the moment we walked in the door we knew our holiday would be one to remember. There were 7 adults in our group and more than enough space for everyone. All the bedrooms were spacious with ensuites which was a huge bonus. Beds and linens were great. The kitchen was well stocked with left over spices and oils for us to use. There were two fridges which were perfect for drinks and food. No shortage on space there. The outside......the pool and view were spectacular. We spent every day outside by the pool and the access to the ocean front was perfect. There was nice shade in the morning and afternoon which was great to have for a break from the sun. The outside patio furniture was plentiful and comfortable. If you like morning walks, it is a great place to do that with accessible roads that you can actually take to eventually walk on Simpson Bay. You are also a short walk to some local restaurants and Maho beach which is a must see/do. We will be visiting the island again, and most definitely renting this villa again. The property managers John and Stacey were responsive and helpful wherever needed. Thank you so much for all your coordination with booking our catamaran Stacey!! Would totally recommend this property (which would also be great for children)

Awesome Property

Have been staying at SXM condo's for years and, without question, this property is among the best. The guest coordinator, Gwen, is a pleasure to deal with, communicative and unbelievably helpful. Always available for assistance or to deal with minor issues. The unit is spacious, beautiful and clean. The master BR is ocean facing with large closets and bathroom, but very importantly, the other two bedrooms are sufficiently large and accommodating. The classic problem with villa and home rentals is that only the Master Bedroom is typically nice, and the other guests feel relegated to inferior and uncomfortable bedrooms. Not the case here. Views, deck and patio are spectacular and the location excellent for Maho area. If you’re going to spend all your time at Orient Beach or Pinel Island, then understand that you’ll have to drive. One thing to note is that loud music is prohibited on the decks and patios. The owner (who lives below) is hands on and will politely approach you if you violate this policy. Do not rent this unit if you plan on partying and blasting music during the day or into the night. For our purposes, we appreciated that adjoining unit owners also respected this reasonable and quiet policy. Evan Metalios

Phenomenal Home & Location

The pictures do NOT do this property justice. This property has 4 separate bedrooms with lockable bedroom doors, and all with full bathrooms (showers, toilets, vanity). The pool is clean and heated to perfection. The view and beachfront is private, faces West (sunsets), has a hose when you enter/exit the beach to rinse off the sand and rinse your swimwear .. you can swim into the ocean as we did, directly from this home. The main street and all restaurants and casino are a 12-minute walk through 2 side streets and a beach (very convenient). The home is equipped with everything you need including big-screen TV in living room (no other TV's, but they are not needed) and portable JBL speaker anyone can sync with while outside on the pool patio enjoying the sunshine. The cleaning lady was pleasant and came by every couple of days which is a great feature to keep the place tidy, clean the kitchen, and refresh the clean towels. All linens and towels are provided. The home has a fully remote security gate and full security wall, as well as fully remote security blinds on all windows. The concierge Stacey and the property manager John were absolutely fantastic and very helpful. Download the "WhatsApp app and you can chat with them over wi-fi without using any data or cellular service, and they will assist you with anything you desire during your stay. They truly care about your experience and will ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. We will be returning.

Beautiful place, great service

John was incredibly responsive and helpful, beginning with pre-booking questions and pre-stay booking of excursions. When we arrived, John and Gwen met us at the rental and immediately helped us resolve problems with our rental car and helped us find a spot for dinner, including connecting us with drivers for taxis through our stay. The home was impeccably clean and exactly, if not better and more expansive, than pictured. Daily cleaning service kept it clean and comfy through our stay. The views were breathtaking from the main floor and in every direction from the rooftop deck, which was exclusively ours. On NYE we watched fireworks shows in both directions from the deck. We didn’t use the pool much since the water was pretty cold in late Dec/early Jan, but we prefer the beach anyway. The famous Maho beach is a short walk away—it’s busy but the sand and water are great, and there is always lots of entertainment with the planes landing and an international smattering of selfie-takers. Just beside the beach is the sunset bar, which is touristy but good for a drink during sunset. Just a few minutes drive away is Mullet Bay beach which was one of our favorites for less crowds and great sand and easy waves for the kids. Probably our favorite day was one spent on Pinel Island-a definite must in St Martin. While there is still plenty of evidence of Irma’s destruction, St Martin is definitely restored enough to make it worth the trip. We had many amazing meals on the French side. We also cooked some meals in the kitchen, which was reasonably stocked with pots/pans, utensils, etc. The rental is a few minutes drive to the airport and to a grocery store, and a great location for getting anywhere on the island. We had a very confortable and fun stay.

Best Trip Ever w Family (3 adult daughters)

This was the best trip! We have not traveled to this region since 2017 (hurricane year) and then we all know happened next - COVID. We were a little hesitant in booking, not thoroughly knowing the state of recovery or mindset of locals. We were so welcomed and EVERYONE on the island had the happiest and most genuine smiles. The island has recovered, better yet, many places are completely new. Daily beach hoping is our favorite thing to do, and Sunset Beach (where the planes land over your head) - is an easy walk away from the VRBO. The VRBO was even more perfect than the pics appear. We were so comfortable and accommodations were easy. The leasing concierge met us at the airport and helped us to our place with our (way too many bags) and had our car rental ready to go! We would stay here AGAIN & AGAIN! THANK YOU
