You can get to the beach but only the lucky families that have their own boat dock can get to the sound & enjoy all that it has to offer.

Easy living is what figure 8 Island is all about.There are only single family homes on Figure 8 & nothing commercial. It is only 3 miles to shopping & restaurants. This way you have the island to yourself, no crowds, no noise except the waves lapping the beach or a bird singing. Enjoy biking the island, best way to see the island. The road ways on the island are residential, neighborhood streets. NO highways, no 3-4 lane roads & no traffic lights. You just slow down & enjoy a slower pace of life.
