Named after the stunning creek just off the intercoastal it sits on, Whiskey Creek is a charming 4-bedroom waterfront retreat that offers a secluded serene getaway or time alone to enjoy the water views and Live Oak tree in the wind. The home sits nestled amongst live and water oaks tucked away to relax in your own little world.

A separate rental contract must be signed prior to stay.

Disclaimer: Swimming, standing, or wadding in the water near or around the house/dock is forbidding.

This property is a 25-minute drive to Wrightsville Beach where you can find world class surfing, local events and concerts, the Wrightsville Beach Municipal Park, fresh seafood, and a vibrant nightlife. Carolina Beach is a 20-minute drive from the house and is famous for shopping on the boardwalk, the North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Fisher State Park, and sumptuous dining.

Bring or rent a boat, paddle boards or kayaks and launch them at the nearby neighborhood boat ramp and leave them on the dock for the week for easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway or Masonboro Island! The large backyard with the looming Live Oak Tree overlooks the peaceful creek making it the perfect place to spend any seasonal nights with friends and family. Build a fire in the Solo Stove and enjoy the beautiful days or nights reminiscing on memories while making smores. This beautiful lot provides plenty of space to create more memorable times together.

If you rent or bring your own boat or water crafts (ie jet ski) there will be a $500 dock fee with a maximum of 2 water crafts allowed. We will also need proof of insurance for each water craft.

At the heart of this property, you’ll find an open family/kitchen space that benefits by gorgeous natural light flowing in from the massive sliding windowed doors that fill the walls. To one side, a large couch faces a sizable flat-screen TV, while behind that is a dining area that offers seating for eight. Adjacent, is a large kitchen with all the necessities needed to prepare meals throughout the week. There is ample countertop space on the breakfast bar and which provides bar stool seating for six. Not only is the main living space a prime location for taking in the stunning marsh view, the room over from it holds an open entertainment space and features a foosball table, arcade games, a fireplace, flat-screen TV, and sliding glass doors that open up to the backyard deck. There is a sleeping nook beside the window with one twin-sized bed. An additional sleeping area can be found off of the game room with one twin-sized bed. These two sleeping spaces are not private, as they do not have doors that can be shut off from the rest of the house.
Proceed down the hallway to find three additional bedrooms. The master suite has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, TV and en suite bathroom with dual vanities and a walk-in shower. Down the hall is the second bedroom, which has two twin-sized beds, TV and walk-in closet. A full bathroom is located nearby which is shared with the third bedroom. This room has a queen-sized bed, TV and two walk-in closets. An upstairs loft area has a full over full bunk and a twin, sleeping a total of 5. There is third full shower-only bathroom located near the kitchen.


Whiskey Creek is a residential home, not an event hall. These rules are part of the rental agreement.

Occupancy
Maximum overnight guests as stated on the listing. Day visitors count toward occupancy. Gatherings of 10 or more people are not allowed unless approved in writing before booking and reserved as an event.

Events
No parties, weddings, rehearsals, or event setups unless booked as an approved event with a signed addendum, proof of event insurance, an event fee starting at $1,500, and a 3-night minimum. An unapproved event or gathering of more than 10 people is a violation and will result in a $10,000 fee plus all damage and extra cleaning.

Furniture
Do not move or rearrange furniture. Do not move indoor furniture outside. Do not drag sofas, benches, tables, or chairs across hardwood. Damage from moving furniture is the guest’s responsibility, including floor scratches and broken legs or wheels, even if the item already had wear or an imperfection.

Pets
Pets only with prior approval. $300 per pet. Maximum 2 pets unless the owner approves more in writing. Unauthorized pets are a violation.

Dock, water, boats
Dock, water, yard, and outdoor furniture are used at the guest’s own risk. No diving. Children must be supervised at all times. We are not responsible for injury, drowning, or property loss in or around the water. Boat use of the dock requires prior approval, proof of insurance, and a dock fee.

Fire
Indoor fireplace is not for guest use. Fire pit / Solo Stove is used at the guest’s own risk. Burn only clean, dry firewood. Guest is responsible for fire, smoke, odor, and resulting damage. Extinguish fully before leaving it. No fireworks, sparklers, Chinese lanterns, tiki torches, or any other flammable items. The Solo Stove is the only open-flame item allowed.

Quiet hours
Quiet hours 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No loud music, outdoor speakers, or late-night gatherings. Neighbor complaints can end the stay and result in a $500 or greater fee.

Parking
Park only on the driveway and carport. No parking on grass, dirt, or lawns. Do not block neighbors. No street overflow. No RVs, U-Hauls, or extra sleeping vehicles.

Walls and fixtures
No nails, hooks, tape, Command strips, or hanging items on walls, trim, trees, appliances, sliders, buildings, or any fixture. Guest pays all repair costs.

Damage
Report damage, spills, or broken items immediately. Do not attempt repairs unless asked. Failure to report does not remove responsibility.

Smoking
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, including inside, outside, dock, yard, and vehicles on site. Guest pays odor remediation and related damage.

Check-out
Out by 10:00 a.m. unless late check-out was approved and paid. Trash in the outside bin. Dishes in the dishwasher and run.

Insurance
Guests are responsible for their own travel insurance and any optional damage coverage. This booking does not include a host damage waiver from us.

Contract
A separate rental contract must be signed with property management prior to one's stay.

Cancellations
Reservations are non-refundable once booked, except where a booking-channel cancellation policy shown at checkout is stricter or required. No refunds for change of plans, weather, illness, travel issues, or unused nights.
