Our 1,110 s.f. first floor apartment has a private entrance and is walking distance to Tulane University. Many restaurants on nearby Freret st.......Starbucks, High Hat Cafe, Bar Frances, Mint Modern Vietnamese Bistro, Bearcat Cafe and many more!

Our one bedroom apartment features 1 king sized bed and a day bed with trundle. It also has a full kitchen. Enjoy your morning coffee through the French doors in our professionally landscaped garden.

Interaction with guests would be very little to none. My husband, son and I live on the second floor.

The neighborhood is quiet and lovely to walk around. The St. Charles ave street car is about 1 mile walk or drive. An uber will get you downtown via Claiborne ave in 10-15 minutes.

Was exactly as described. Place was a little larger than expected, but that’s definitely a bonus. Perfect location to Tulane University. Close enough to walk, but also easy accessible parking.

Convenient to Tulane with garden

The small street-level unit was great for a quick trip to Tulane. The garden is reason we rented here--definitely the highlight. Very accommodating with early check and late checkout.

New Orleans Getaway

Host was very responsive. TV needs cable. Lacking tv in bedroom. Laundry facilities not available as advertised, but only on request. Garden needs attention.

Lovely flat and great uptown location

We had a great two night stay in the days before Mardi Gras and during carnival. The flat is large, immaculately clean, well appointed and has a nice outdoor area. Street parking is free, easy and safe. Neighbourhood is lovely and safe. 10 minute walk to the St. Charles streetcar to get to the French Quarter and about 25 minutes to Magazine Street where many of the parades start. Great stay overall.

Spacious Garden Apartment

Fantastic stay! Perfect for parents in town visiting their NOLA based student. Within walking distance of coffee, restaurants, and the Tulane University campus. Parking in the street was never a problem and our host was always responsive.

Good Option, Safe Location

My husband and I stayed before a cruise. Property was as described. Everything was in working order and clean during our stay. Property was in a safe and quiet location within walking distance of Starbucks and restaurants. Wish there was better communication with the owner prior to arrival. Although I understand not wanting to give certain information too far prior to arrival, it would have been nice to have owner respond to messages to ease stress. Also it would be helpful if the door location description was better. You cant see the entry from the front of the house. The bed was comfortable and air units worked well. The shower was amazing!!! There was sugar for coffee but no coffee creamer. Garden was pretty option. Overall a quick nice stay and would recommend if you want an option outside the busier areas.

Nice property area with side entrance to this basement property There are ceiling can lighting throughout but confusing because no light bulbs in some of those areas . Beautiful landscaping in back courtyard. Needs full size refrigerator; a small refrigerator/freezer hotel size one is installed. Note Washer/dryer is locked away with access after notifying owner. Only one trash bag and minimal supplies TP, paper towels upon check-in but host supplied trash bags after notification

Comfortable and spacious

The outdoor garden area was lovely, unfortunately we could not take advantage of it due to the blizzard January 2025. There is a market and several restaurants within walking distance.

Great location for Tulane … otherwise not so much

Property was fine, but there is no laundry access despite listing (although owner seems willing to arrange it temporarily if needed). The apartment is in the basement level of the owner’s home. I’d describe it as a “walk out basement” and not a garden apartment. It is very spacious. Kitchen is well equipped for a short stay. It is very very close to Carrollton Avenue and owner suggests in check in instructions that, in addition to locking the door, the gate leading to entrance be kept locked both when you are in the apartment and away. You need actual keys for the gate and the door and, at night, it is hard to see the keyhole to get into the gate. Your phone flashlight is handy here, but an outdoor light would be nice. This gate locking caution made me feel unsafe, but that is a personal view not based on anything bad I observed. There are no shades on doors leading to the garden, and these doors are closest to the bathroom, so just be aware of that. There are no usb ports for charging devices. Bring your wall chargers! There are plenty of extension cords around. Host responded relatively quickly to questions.

Beautiful apartment and garden

Beautiful spotless apartment and lovely large garden. Excellent location. Quiet and safe. Ample free street parking. Comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom and kitchen. Laundry facilities very good but maybe set hours could be posted when the door to laundry room will be unlocked. This is just a quibble though. Wonderful stay overall. Would definitely recommend.

Open space. Beautifully decorated. Amazing backyard.

Great location. Easy walk To restaurants and bars. The best was the beautiful tropical backyard. I would highly suggest you stay there.

Great apartment!

This is a very nice apartment within 10-15 mins of all the fun areas of New Orleans. Street parking always had spots open no matter what time we came back and apartment has all the amenities you need!

Very Nice Neighborhood!

Clean comfortable unit with lovely backyard patio and spa-like bath. Enjoyed proximity to Freret St. shopping and dining. Easy parking on Jefferson St. in lovely neighborhood out of the traffic, noise and hustle closer in to town.

Beautiful apartment close shopping and restaurants

We visit New Orleans several times a year. We decided for a change not to stay at a hotel and found this lovely garden apartment. We were very happy with the accommodations the beautiful garden. Highly recommend. .

Spacious and Clean

This apartment is spacious and exceptionally clean. Good to know: parking is easy, location is in a pleasant residential neighbourhood, the fridge is small and there is limited ice. I felt comfortable here and would stay again.
