COVID CLEANING
For the continued health of our guests, Wanderhome has intensified its already extensive cleaning regimen to include the use of disinfecting products on all surfaces designed to eliminate COVID contagion,  however there is no guaranty that it will be 100% effective.  The guest indemnifies and holds harmless Wanderhome and its vendors, suppliers, and prior guests for any COVID related issues or issues arising from the products used.  (We use ordinary products commonly in use in most homes.)   If you or any of your party exhibit COVID symptoms during or after a stay with us, please inform us so we can take appropriate steps to protect the guests who stay after you.  
We do want inform guests that we are aware of the requested guidelines from the City of Big Bear Lake (72 Hours between Guest) Seeing that many of our bookings took place prior to it (Months to over a year ago), we can't guarantee that we will be able to offer it. If it is a concern of yours, please email us and we can inform you of info. We wish you a thoroughly pleasurable, healthy, and safe stay with us.

We are all in this Coronavirus scare together. The space

KITCHEN. The kitchen is truly a gourmet chef’s dream. We are gourmet cooks so we know what is needed. As you see in the photos, our gourmet kitchen has every amenity you could imagine, so you can feed your big group in style for the best winter meals. Everything is labeled for ease of discovery. A short list of the great stuff you’ll find:
- Cooking equipment: Calphalon and Lodge pots and pans, griddles, InstantPot, Breville oven, Crock Pot, Kitchen Aid Mixer, Baking equipment, Chef knives)
- For the kids: Kids waffle maker, pancake griddle, cookie cutters, kids plates and cups, high chair, kids/pets security gates
- Serving: Platters and serving utensils to serve more than a half-dozen dishes, drink tub, pitchers, coffee carafes and gourmet coffee
- BBQ and equipment: Professional grade propane gas BBQ (no charcoal please) and utensils (underneath microwave)

DINING. We developed this Wanderhome to ensure that you could have festive meals for even the largest groups:
- Normal: Simultaneous seating for up to 14
- Expanded: Comfortably seat 24 people (uses folding table and the use of expansion leaves)
- Folding table that seats 6
- 8 chairs for extra seating
- 2 benches, if needed

BEDROOMS. Our luxury ski lodge has 6 bedrooms including 5 private sleeping arrangements and a Bunk Room that can sleep up to 12 kids/couples on queen-size bunk beds. Here are the sleeping arrangements:
- Top Floor (entry level): Private, locking master bedroom hotel-quality California King + full bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower. Living Room: This top floor room includes a luxury queen-size sofa bed that can be used to sleep up to 2.
- Middle Floor (spa, game room, laundry and deck level): 2 private, locking luxury bedrooms, one room with a Cal King Bed and the second has a queen bed. One large, locking room our, “media room” with 2 luxury sofa bed with memory foam mattresses and a floor-to-ceiling retractable extra-thick privacy curtain
- Bottom Floor: Bunk room with 6 queen-size bunk beds and 3 pullout trundles. (it’s a kids’ and teen paradise)
- Game Room/6th Bedroom: Our heated game room has a private, locking entrance and a luxury sofa bed with memory foam mattress. The Game Room also has room for one or two inflatable mattresses should that room be made a teenager room (good idea!)

HEATING AND COMFORT. There is central heating with three separate zones so everyone stays comfortable, and there are space heaters, extra cozy blankets (the best!), humidifiers, fans and chargers in each room for added comfort.

AMENITIES: We provide only the finest luxury amenities that include spa-quality towels, high thread-count linens, spa soap, shampoo conditioner and body wash, and quality paper products.

FUN AND TOYS: If you weren't already excited about our amazing vacation property, the special collections of fun stuff for all our guests will make you realize that everyone will be able to keep busy and having fun your whole trip! Here's some of our magic:

WINTER WEATHER. From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle. If stopped by highway patrol they will ask to see them. Weather can change quickly in Big Bear and significant snow can stop traffic and delay commutes to and around the Big Bear area. Watch the weather forecast and plan your trip accordingly. Fortunately, Reunion Lodge's driveway is level with the street so both the garage and driveway (4 cars total) are nearly always usable. Wanderhome does not provide refunds for winter weather conditions. During winter snow storms, we will try our best to plow driveways as quickly as possible. Drive safely and be prepared.

Guest access

The entire home including the game room, garage and spa. The property is not shared.

Interaction with guests

This is an entire home just for one group of guests at a time. Staff is available by phone at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) or (Email hidden by Airbnb)

Other things to note

This home is excellent for work retreats as well as multifamily gatherings. It has a huge amount of space and many work areas. The Wanderhome team even uses this house for our work retreats.
