Fill your next West Maui vacation with sweeping oceanfront views when you escape to this fifth-floor condo at the Hololani Resort in the middle of Kahana! You'll have a shaded lanai where you can enjoy breakfast and watch unforgettable sunsets, shared access to an outdoor pool, and a wonderful location within walking distance of many of Kahana's prime spots.

This oceanfront condo sits a quarter-mile (in either direction) from fun local dining options, including Dollie's Pub & Cafe, Miso Phat Sushi, and Maui Brewing Company. You'll be two miles south of Kapalua Bay Beach, which has been named one of the best beaches in the world, three miles north of Kahekili Beach Park, and four miles north of Ka'anapali Beach. Golfers, meanwhile, can drive just four miles to play the prestigious Plantation Course at Kapalua (to the north) or the Ka'anapali Course (to the south).

THINGS TO KNOW

The two twin beds in the guest room can be converted to a king when requested at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
This property is managed by Vacasa Hawaii LLC.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Incredible View!!

We spent more time on the patio enjoying the view, the breeze, and seeing turtles! The space inside was great; our kids especially loved having their own bathroom! Wish there had been easier beach access, but all in all a fantastic spot!

Stay Away: great oceanview, apartment not good

the only great things about the apartment was the view, and vacasa customer service agent being prompt in reply. Cons- 1. the sofa bed in living room is broken and extremely uncomfortable to sleep. 2. The master bedroom had strange bedbugs and our family had bug bites all over. 3. The parking assigned to us was always occupied and we were asked to find street parking for ourselves even at odd times Extremely uncomfortable stay and we paid a lot for this. Waste of money and its an overall bad experience

Another amazing stay at Hololani!

Hololani units are a few steps from the water. It is quiet and peaceful here and is close to a variety of amenities within walking distance. It is ideal for two couples traveling together or for a family.

Enjoy Hololani

This is our second time at Hololani and we really like staying in Kahana. We had originally booked a different unit which was no longer available. This unit is less exquisite than the other, but it met our needs and has a great view. There was plenty of toilet paper and dishwasher pods, along with some laundry detergent. The breezes flow very strongly through this unit, which kept us cool. The small safe for securing valuables was nice to have when we went out to the beach (which is just a short walk down the road). The kitchen has lots of dishes and cookware and we were grateful for the tin foil and plastic wrap!

Great stay

Place was very spacious. Had everything we needed from glassware to laundry detergent. Walking distance to a few restaurants and shops. Was worried about not having a/c but ended up being very comfortable.

Great property but room was bad

Hololani is centrally located, has amazing views and we were happy with vacasa on-site customer service. Room A501 is probably the worst room at the property. Everything is old in the apartment. We had to get refrigerator, dishwasher, and shower fixed during first days of our stay. Furniture and carpets were dirty and old. There was a distinct smell in the room. While the on-site vacasa service was awesome, the central vacasa service was pathetic. They just did sweet talk without any decision or action.

mixed review

great view and the price was good (for maui) but the furniture was extremely dated and the there were roaches in the kitchen. they come out at night from inside the dishwasher, behind. the counters and from the drainage. for close to 3k a week, I expect my rental unit to be bug free!

Beautiful / Peacefull

Outstanding view of the ocean and we were able to swim right out front. I would stay there again. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed and a few extras, like coolers, boggy boards, beach towels, we Loved it , 11/2022 Thanks Rick

Hololani means Gone to Heaven

We have been staying at a timeshare at Hololani for over 10 years. Unit A501 was an upgrade in most respects. King bed was an upgrade. Kitchen (cabinets, appliances, etc.) all upgrades, tile throughout was an upgrade. View was perfect.

Mini-Mansion Ocean Front Condo with Amazing View

Hololani A501 stay 2022

The condo is spacious and contains all needed amenities. The view from the lanai is spectacular with whale sightings right out in front of us. We could also see turtles almost each day. We enjoyed our stay. I had difficulty with the living room TV but went to the office and within hours, a maintenance person came and helped me get the cable to work.

Great location lacks the basics

Location was great. Close within driving distance of many beach’s, shops, and restaurants. The condo itself lacked the basics like toaster, grilling utensils. Booked for 6 people only had linens for 5. Had to request bedding for pull out. Requested extra bath towels never received. Code to access room didn’t work upon arrival.

Not the best

View, location were nice. Unit in desperate need of upgrades. Very noisy with building remodeling and common area on ground floor. We won’t stay here again.

Location is great. This place is old and needs some updating. The toilet runs constantly. We had them come twice to fix it and then just gave up. We would turn off the water after each use. Don't use the hot pads. Paper thin. Got burned when I pulled a dish out of the oven. The washer broke when we where there. I was fixed a few days later and the owner inferred we did too big of a load. I was a little offended. Washed some swim suits that it. I guess I really need a diet. We just stop asking for help. The over head fan in the bedroom would make a load grinding noise. Either turn it of at night or get up every other hour to move it so it would stop the noise. Was not going to review this property but you kept sending this email.

Beautiful views, great location

Our family of four very much enjoyed our stay here! The view off of the lanai is one of the best we’ve ever had on Maui. Countless whale and sea turtle sightings! The unit is well taken care of and close to many great beaches and amenities. We would book here again for sure.

Best View & Well Equipped Unit

Has to be one of the best ocean views we’ve ever had on Maui! We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching all the whales and sea turtles on a daily basis. Excellent location that was close proximity to great beaches, amenities and restaurants. Our small kids enjoyed the pool and the unit was well equipped for our stay. We would love to return to the Hololani in future and would recommend it whole heartedly.

Although in a good location and great view this property is over priced.

This condo needs numerous repairs, updating and renovations. Kitchen is from the 1960s. Doors and windows are art ghetto. Baseboards look like crap. Vacasa has numerous units on VRBO which are better value. 325.00 cleaning fee is stupid. Had to replace numerous light bulbs upon check in. Sorry very disappointed for a unit with such a good location and view.

Vacasa Rental

While this unit has an awesome view and was very clean, we were very disappointed that we weren't informed we would have to be out of the unit from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. two days of our nine day stay. Although we sent numerous texts and emails to Vacasa regarding this issue and a request for a partial refund of the fees we paid, no return communication with Vacasa was received. We won't book through them again. We have had much better luck booking directly with owners in the past and we would not recommend Vacasa to anyone else.

Clean, Comfortable, and Good Location

Our family of four (including 2 college age kids) enjoyed a great week staying at this property. The unit is very comfortable and was a convenient hub for our beach, snorkeling and hiking adventures. We knew there was no beach in front of the unit (hence the lower price compared to others), but we already were planning to visit multiple beaches and the central location reduced drive times. Although there is no direct beach access at the property, there is a small beach within a couple minutes walk. The view from the lanai was beautiful and we could see whale activity off in the horizon. The kitchen is well-stocked but on the older side, although the refrigerator looked brand new. The bath rooms must have been recently redone and looked liked something out of HGTV. I should mention that there is no air conditioning, but the ceiling fans and ocean breezes kept the unit a comfortable temperature. Although our kids shared the 2nd bedroom, it would work perfectly as a second master since it had its own bathroom and more closet space. The property was well kept and we liked how many other residents were enjoying their lanais as well. We really appreciated Vacasa letting us know the unit was ready early and we could arrive earlier than normal check-in. Also, it was nice that Vacasa had an office on-site and were generous enough to provide us more laundry detergent.
