Looking for a fun filled vacation but want to come back to peace & quite?...This is the place! The barn is situated on 27 beautiful rolling acres.
Come and sit on the large porch and enjoy views of the Bluff Mountain and
The Chillhowhee Mountain range. (the Foothills of the Smokies.)
Occasionally, you can enjoy watching our local herd of deer as they play in the field.
First of all, I love my guests. I will do everything I possibly can to make your experience comfortable and memorable. I have many repeat guests that are like family to me.
That being said...I will give you total privacy unless you are interested in meeting.
Our barn, with a single condo, provides privacy for the two of you. You do not share the barn with anyone else.....Two adults only,
**** Policy: No children, No pets, NO EVENTS, (We are not licensed for weddings...no exceptions!) ****
TWO NIGHT MINIMUM STAY ON WEEKENDS
The barn is yours to enjoy and you may come and go as you please but I am usually close by if you need anything.

We are centrally located from several areas of interest.
Our farm is located 15 - 20 min. from Maryville, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, & Townsend. You can enjoy downtown Knoxville in 15 - 20 minutes. The University of Tennessee is located 15 miles from here also.
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is an easy drive and is the most visited National Park in the Nation. (There are hiking books, etc. in the barn)
Not a hiker? There are so may beautiful drives here. The new extension of Foothills Parkway is absolutely breathtaking. All of this is close by, including Dollywood, etc.
The Biltmore Estate, in Asheville, NC is an easy day trip. About 2 hours away.

This was our second visit and we absolutely love the property. The check in and check out process is smooth and easy. The property is always exceptionally clean. It has everything on site to come and just relax. The views from the porch are fantastic. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is the property for you. We will be returning again.

Spacious place with a well equipped kitchen. It even had a laundry area. Peaceful setting so it was very quiet. The special touches from the host was much appreciated.

This is by far the nicest rental we've stayed in and has absolutely earned every 10/10 rating they've received. Jeanne has gone above and beyond to make sure everything you need is there and that you're stay is relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The recliners were a great touch. The location was very quiet and secluded but only 10 min from stores and restaurants. We can't recommend this place highly enough. If you need a place to stay in the area this is it!

This is the best VRBO we’ve stayed in and Jeanne is an incredible host. If you have a chance to book this property for your stay in the Smokies, run, don’t walk, to secure it. We hope to stay again when we come back this way.

We really enjoyed our stay and left with hopes of returning in the future. The area and the view were exceptionally beautiful. Jeanne made sure we understood her place well with little notes and afforded us the privacy level of our choice. She made us feel very appreciated. This place is a rare find that is clean and cozy. We had been traveling a bit and took special note of the comfy chairs and bed. We concur with the 10 out of 10 rating for Jeanne’s place.

The Mockingbird Farm is a beautiful place to stay while visiting the Smoky MountainNational Park and surrounding area. It was very clean and well maintained and had everything you would need for a great stay. The host was exceptional with providing information about the area and places to see and making sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend The Mockingbird Farm!

Beautiful place to relax & chill-only wish I had a few more days in this beautiful paradise. Facilities were clean, well maintained and comfortable.

Great place to stay would highly recommend! We enjoyed the fresh muffins and the mountain view.

Amazing!! Better in person than the listing. Of you are looking for a stress free, peaceful, homey, place to stay.. this is by far it. It's clean and is equipped with anything you might need and more, including, warm, welcoming hosts, beautiful views and great accommodations.

Where do I begin? This was the most peaceful and relaxing stay I have ever experienced on vacation. The view was captivating. It was so quiet and peaceful outside. We stayed for couple of days and didn’t turn on the TV once! Everything was carefully thought out: fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets and pillows, towels, etc. Speaking of the kitchen, if you like to cook, the double ovens and deep sinks will get any meal out quickly. The bed was so comfortable it was easy to fall asleep quickly. The host was absolutely amazing. She sent the information early so check in was a breeze. We had privacy throughout the stay. There were notes around the home so you didn’t have to reach out for anything. Plus she had muffins waiting for us which was welcomed after long travel day. I can see why this property is so highly rated and will be visiting again very soon!

We were really impressed by the layout - there was plenty of room while still allowing conversation. The views were wonderful and it was very quiet and relaxing! Jeanne could not have been more considerate and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

All the 5 star reviews are spot on. Very cozy and clean, the host has thought of absolutely everything. A lot of thought was put into all the little details. This location is very quiet and worked great for my wife and I who were pulling a 20' enclosed trailer. Lot's of room to park. Thanks again!

A beautiful place. Jeanne left us snacks and cute little notes for exactly how to take care of her beautiful barndominium. It was the perfect place for a quick getaway. Will be back!

We were very pleased with the Mockingbird farm. It was very easy to find, the host was very good with response to my questions. She had muffins , drinks and snacks waiting on us. So nice and clean. It was easy to feel at home. We will definitely be back. Loved sitting on the porch and watching the cows and we even saw some deer. Thanks for such a great get away

We absolutely loved our stay here for my birthday getaway. The property was quiet, peaceful, and offered beautiful views of rolling terrain, birds, cows in the distance, and mountains beyond. It was the perfect setting to unwind and celebrate.Our host, Jeanne, was wonderfully responsive and accommodating, and she even left delicious homemade blueberry muffins for us at check-in, which was such a thoughtful touch. The space itself was comfortable and well-kept.While the property is about 10 miles out in the country, it still felt very convenient and centrally located to the places we visited, including Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Townsend, and Maryville.We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat, and we definitely plan to stay here again the next time we visit the area!

Mockingbird Farm was a perfect spot to unwind after my sister’s funeral. My son and I enjoyed the views and our hike of the property. The deer were an extra bonus. Thanks!

Have you ever stayed in a barn? This is your chance. New built/no animals. You can gaze out the kitchen window and see cattle on the hill with the mountains in the background. Go explore the tourist attractions and then come "home" to peace and quiet.

I feel so blessed to be able to live on this beautiful piece of land. The location is perfect. We can be in major tourist areas within 20 - 25 minutes but we don't have to "live" there! It's always so nice to come home....I think you will feel that way too.
