While just minutes from golf, dining, and shopping, once you arrive, you are on the grounds of a naturalist's preserve with majestic saguaros and desert washes.
Write your book, paint the landscape or play your song. Dine outside under the ocotillo ramada, with fire pit and BBQ or indoors by the fireplace. Finally, relax in the spa under a star-filled sky.

We had a great stay at Casa Vaquera—beautiful views and amenities. Close vicinity to a grocery store and nice restaurants were a plus. We would absolutely stay there again.

Great location, great host

Loved the location. Easy to get to restaurants, hikes, shopping, etc. The house was perfect for two, very easy to communicate with the host.

Excellent place

Nice property with beautiful views. Stayed here to do some triathlon and run training. Excellent area for running, with nice bike paths nearby. Also, short drive to Rich Carlton Burrow Trail for hiking. Highly recommend.

Great Place

This place was perfect for our week in Tucson! Had everything we needed, especially the hot tub after all the biking and hiking. It was just secluded enough to feel like you were all alone but still close to the highway and grocery store for when it was time to resupply or tour around. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely casita in the desert! Perfect for my husband and I. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was supplied with all the essentials. It was so to.be able to relax in the hot tub after exploring all day.

Beautiful spot close to national park

Great little house close to beautiful hiking in national and state parks, perfect for the two of us. Loved the hot tub, kitchen had everything we needed. A bit depending on winds (I think) some traffic noise from nearby highways but the views of the mountains are so beautiful that it’s easy to tune those out and feel you’re far away from everything.

Relaxing getaway

The property is even nicer than the pictures. Our favorite parts were the 3 patios and the privacy. Our host, Jan, was quick to respond and help resolve a couple snafus. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and be comfortable. We will definitely come back!

Breathtaking Views and Charming Cottage

Darling “Boho meets Southwest” desert cottage for two. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Highlights included the gorgeous views, wood-burning fireplace and hot tub under the stars. Jan is a super host, treating her guests to a seamless and memorable experience.

Quant ranch house in the desert. Very private with gorgeous desert vegetation. Great for a long weekend. It was very convenient to the wedding we attended at the Ritz Carlton. .

I think the best that can be said after a stay at a VRBO property is that you would choose to stay there again. I would definitely stay here again. Great spot. Well out of the city proper. Clean. Comfortable bed. Easy communication with owners.

Peaceful get away

Very peaceful stay, very private, attractive home, perfect for a couple. Enjoyed the hot tub and lovely yard for relaxing and eating outside. Very clean and host was responsive and helpful. She left cookies and wine to welcome us. Would definitely return. House is located in a beautiful area

A wonderful property

This is a charming Sonoran desert casita on a beautiful piece of land. It's very comfortable and quiet. There are patios on 3 sides of the house that are perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful. When I return to Tucson, I'll definitely stay here!

Peaceful desert living

Grand Views

A tranquil experience in the Sonoran Desert. This property is located in a more leisurely area surrounded by other larger properties and beautiful mountains. Sunrises and sunsets can be your daily highlights! Everything you need from groceries to restaurants are a few minutes away. The hosts are thoughtful and ensured a pleasant experience for us from the comfortable king size bed to a well appointed kitchen. If you enjoy being in the desert rather than looking at it from afar, this is your place.
