Wonderful!

Lovely casita in the desert! Perfect for my husband and I. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was supplied with all the essentials. It was so to.be able to relax in the hot tub after exploring all day.

We had a great stay at Casa Vaquera—beautiful views and amenities. Close vicinity to a grocery store and nice restaurants were a plus. We would absolutely stay there again.

Privacy and Beauty

We came back this year because we loved it so much last year. It’s well-furnished and a perfect little spot for two people. The hot tub is a bonus. Jan is a great host. The only caution is that if you like sleeping in a very dark room, this is not for you as the light pours thru the shade in the bedroom in the morning. Other than that, it’s perfect.

Relaxing getaway

The property is even nicer than the pictures. Our favorite parts were the 3 patios and the privacy. Our host, Jan, was quick to respond and help resolve a couple snafus. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and be comfortable. We will definitely come back!

Grand Views

A tranquil experience in the Sonoran Desert. This property is located in a more leisurely area surrounded by other larger properties and beautiful mountains. Sunrises and sunsets can be your daily highlights! Everything you need from groceries to restaurants are a few minutes away. The hosts are thoughtful and ensured a pleasant experience for us from the comfortable king size bed to a well appointed kitchen. If you enjoy being in the desert rather than looking at it from afar, this is your place.

Excellent place

Nice property with beautiful views. Stayed here to do some triathlon and run training. Excellent area for running, with nice bike paths nearby. Also, short drive to Rich Carlton Burrow Trail for hiking. Highly recommend.

Much needed respite with a gorgeous view!

What a lovely home, with everything we needed to make our week in Tucson a great rejuvenation! We always want to stay away from a downtown area, and Tucson is really a big sprawl anyway. This home was placed close enough to everything we wanted to do, but only about a 35 min drive by our rental from the airport. It’s a charming home, with everything we needed to make quick breakfasts and sit out and enjoy the gorgeous views on the beautiful verandas. Soaking up the nighttime sky in the hot tub after days spent hiking the amazing Saguaro dessert, was our favorite activity! The bed was comfortable and linens great! I will probably order a robe like the one we got to use here for my home! Thoughtful touches like the cookies & wine on arrival, or special soaps in the bathroom, and the quick responsiveness to questions asked made this stay even better. We loved waking up every morning and returning here everyday. What a great choice we made in picking this home for our base while in Tucson! Very romantic and cozy!

Peaceful get away

Very peaceful stay, very private, attractive home, perfect for a couple. Enjoyed the hot tub and lovely yard for relaxing and eating outside. Very clean and host was responsive and helpful. She left cookies and wine to welcome us. Would definitely return. House is located in a beautiful area

Beautiful spot close to national park

Great little house close to beautiful hiking in national and state parks, perfect for the two of us. Loved the hot tub, kitchen had everything we needed. A bit depending on winds (I think) some traffic noise from nearby highways but the views of the mountains are so beautiful that it’s easy to tune those out and feel you’re far away from everything.

Relaxing Hideaway

We had a great week here. Jan is a very responsive and excellent host who has thought of everything you need to be comfortable. The hot tub in the moonlight was fabulous and sitting on the patio in a bathrobe drinking your morning coffee in the sunshine was too. The only caution I would have is that the bathroom would be pretty tight for a very large person but for us it was fine.

I think the best that can be said after a stay at a VRBO property is that you would choose to stay there again. I would definitely stay here again. Great spot. Well out of the city proper. Clean. Comfortable bed. Easy communication with owners.

Desert oasis

What a lovely casita! Stunning views, extremely private, lovely outdoor spa and several wonderful patios, well-appointed interior, comfy bed, each room decorated in southwestern theme, and all 5 min. from a full market and other amenities. It was perfect both after an active day exploring the Tucson area, and also on a rainy day, just enjoying a cozy retreat and relaxing. Jan was the perfect, helpful host. We were there 5 nights and loved it! Highly recommended.

Great Place

This place was perfect for our week in Tucson! Had everything we needed, especially the hot tub after all the biking and hiking. It was just secluded enough to feel like you were all alone but still close to the highway and grocery store for when it was time to resupply or tour around. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful property

This is a charming Sonoran desert casita on a beautiful piece of land. It's very comfortable and quiet. There are patios on 3 sides of the house that are perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful. When I return to Tucson, I'll definitely stay here!
