In the Dawn condominiums voted best condominium rental complex in Galveston 2023 & 2024 in the Galveston Best of the Island awards. The Houston Chronicle calls the Best of the Island Awards the "Oscars of the Gulf Coast". Come stay at the best!
Driftwood Dreams II, in the Dawn Condominium Complex, is a beautifully furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo with great views of the Gulf from its second floor balcony. The master suite features a king size bed with luxury linens, soft comfortable pillows. The bath is all ceramic with walk in shower and custom glass door. Large soft towels are provided for your comfort. 40" HD TV in the Master Bedroom.
The second bedroom has a twin over twin bunk bed and a Queen bed to sleep up to 2 adults + 2 kiddos.
Room configurations
• 1st Bedroom: King bed with en-suite shower, toilet, sink
• 2nd Bedroom: Queen bed + twin over twin bunk bed
• Hallway Bathroom: Tub/shower combo, toilet, single sink
• Living room: Queen sofa sleeper
The sunny living room features queen sleeper sofa, large overstuffed chairs and is well appointed to give you that "beach" charm. A 48" TV, basic cable and Blu-ray DVD player are available for your use. Adjacent to the living room is an exterior deck with unobstructed Gulf views and outdoor seating for 6. Benches convert to a picnic table. A great place for watching the sunset.
The dining room has large table with available seating for 6. The kitchen is fully stocked; smooth top electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, garbage disposal, dishwasher, refrigerator with large freezer and Emeril stainless steel pots and pans, silverware, glassware and dish place-settings. Tupperware, bowls, measuring cups, strainers and other cooking utensils provided.
DON'T BE FOOLED! Other condos on the Seawall only offer a fridge and a microwave, maybe a hot plate. This unit has a FULL kitchen. Oven, Stove and ALL the cookware to cook your own meals.
Stackable washing machine and dryer are located inside the unit.
Our beach hall closet includes beach tent, sand toys and bamboo beach mats to make your short trip the beach effortless. We've included a cooler, and beach towels for your convenience.
The Dawn is a secure facility with all doors and gates opened with codes. A wrought iron fence surrounds the property to ensure your privacy and security. Ample (fee-based) parking is available on the property as first come first serve. TRAILERS are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances. Beautifully landscaped grounds with 2 available pools year-round, hot tub, community center, charcoal grills and exercise lounge. And to top it all off, Babe's Beach is right across the street, with access from the stop light at the corner of the property.
This condo is on the second floor. Guests must be able to navigate one flight of stairs.
All guests must check in with the Condo HOA upon arrival. Mandatory parking/amenity passes are $40-$50 per vehicle per stay (depending on length of stay) and include pool wrist bands for up to 7 guests.
NOTE: Upon booking this property, you will be required to sign a House Agreement, provide a copy of primary renter's driver license, provide a guest list of everyone's names and ages within 24 hours of booking. You will also be required to pay a damage and cleaning deposit hold three days prior to arrival.
ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED per the HOA rules.
Check in any time after 4PM, check out no later than 11AM.
POLICIES
• Must be at least 25 years old to book and be staying at the property (no booking for others)
• No events, parties or large gatherings including prom, bachelor/bachelorette, graduation and TEEN groups – if this is your intent, please look elsewhere
• No smoking inside or on decks/balconies. Please dispose of cigarette butts appropriately.
• Pets are not allowed per HOA rules. (30+ day stays are exempt.
• Requires one flight of stairs and may be difficult for guests with limited mobility
• Paid Parking Pass is required for every vehicle in the complex.
• Additional fees and taxes may apply
• Photo ID may be required upon check-in
Violation of any rules (above) or stated in our House Agreement may constitute loss of security hold.
Cancellation policy: Guest receives 100.00% of rent if cancellation occurs at least 14 days before arrival No refunds within 14 days of arrival.
