Great Location! Round home across the road from the slopes. Only steps from the front door to skiing! This is a beautifully quaint 3 bedroom 2 bath house that sits in the middle of all winter activities. Featured in the master bedroom is a king size bed and a TV. In the second bedroom there is a queen size bed. During the winter months you can cozy up to the wood stove fire place on the sleeper sofa and watch the skiers on the slopes. Go down the spiral staircase to the second living area that also has a new futon. (third bedroom) Also downstairs there is a large laundry room with half bath facilities.
3 night minimum
No smoking, No pets! No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign rental agreement upon booking.

old and very dated. Not enough lighting. Some lamps dont even work. Steps and deck were not even cleaned of ice upon our arrival. will not book it again.

Great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying here for a long ski weekend. Perfect location right to Oma’s Meadow and to the lodge. Can’t beat it. The wood burning stove was a MUST as the bedrooms did get quite cold at night. Easy check in annd check out. Definitely need 4WD if it’s snowy, the hill up to the hut was steep and icey. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

Warm, Well-Equipped, and Exceptional Hospitality

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We went skiing this Thanksgiving and absolutely loved this unit. It was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The temperature dropped over the past few days, but the best part was how warm the unit stayed, with consistent kitchen and shower water temperatures. When we arrived late at night, it was very dark, and we took a wrong turn. After calling RRR, the business owner personally found us and guided us to the correct unit. We truly enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back.

Great ski location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed with RRR twice in Sugar Top condos and now in this slopeside house. All three events were enjoyable and the communication with people who you know are right there in town is always good. The doors on this unit are coded locks now so no more stops by the office to get a physical key. Me, my wife, and three teenage sons stayed here for a ski weekend and it was everything we hoped it would be.

Great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was by far the best part. I normally don’t do reviews because I don’t like complaining.. The house was fine, little dated but most places are in the mountains.. The issue I have is the house was cold the entire stay, I’m guessing the unit couldn’t keep up with cold temperatures.. The downstairs was extremely cold so nobody could sleep there.. The thermostat always stayed at 64 degrees even if it was set on 70.. The overall stay was good but needs a better source of heat.

It’s ok

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location it’s ok, we went in March and there was not enough snow to skin in and out of the slop. We liked the location but we didn’t enjoy the place so much. The fridge and kitchen appliances are clean, enough stuff to make a meal, I wish they had a toaster and a blender, but in general it well equipped. The place is a good size for a family of 5 maybe 6, furniture is very old and worn, that includes carpets and cabin overall. Blinds full of dust, dated bathrooms, spider webs in many places. A little more attention to cleanliness and a renovation is needed. I would recommend this place only for the location.

Slopesider 29 was Amazing!!

This was one of the best family vacations we’ve ever taken. The house was great, other than having very little in the kitchen but food lion is only a mile away or so, so it wasn’t hard to accommodate.

Good times

The place is in a great location overall. We were able to access the slope from across the street; however, no one was using the home across the street and I'm not sure if the access to the slope was legally permissible. Some homes had signs saying access was not allowed across their property. If we weren't able to access the slopes, then the benefit of being so close to the slopes would be diminished. Both mattresses in the home need to be replaced. Both mattresses sink in the middle. My wife and I, as well as the other couple, both agreed the mattresses were less than ideal. Overall, the property is a good set up and affords good views of the slopes. The home was clean and the downstairs entrance with bunk beds is a great space for the kids to hang out while the adults are upstairs. If the mattresses are changed, I would rent this unit again.

Amazing location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: These little slope siders aren't particularly luxurious, but the ease of walking across the road to the slopes is unbeatable. Everyone can come in and out for lunch or breaks so easily. This particular unit is a little dark though with very few lamps, and you'll need to bring basics like dishwashing detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, etc. We had a couple of college kids sleeping in the bunkbeds and they weren't very comfortable, but the toilet propped on a wooden box in the laundry room made them laugh. The mattresses on the real beds were not great either though. Despite a list of minor complaints and things I'd bring along next time, I would definitely rent this unit again. We were cozy and had a great view of the slopes and a wonderful time.

Repairs

The location of the house was great . It’s was 5 minutes away from everything we went to sugar for . The house itself was nice but definitely in need of some repairs. The home owners should take some money they are making and put it back into the house . Over all it was a good 3 days playing in the snow , Shane

Location, location, location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! Skied out/skied in. The wood burning stove was clutch on a very cold weekend and made the place very cozy. The property's furnishings were very dated and we were disappointed that the cable/internet were both out our entire 4 night stay and the issue was never fixed, though brought up multiple times. Parking was a little dicy on a narrow, icy, snow plowed road, but the rental company was quick to fix the problem. Like most places we have stayed, if you have the max number of occupants, there are not enough dishes or silverware to get you through more than one meal at a time.
