We had a wonderful week staying at Iron Horse South 310. The location in the heart of the village couldn't be more convenient, and the condo itself was spotless, beautifully updated, and had a very cozy feel.It was the perfect setup for our family—plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably, comfortable beds for a great night’s sleep after active days outside, and a well-equipped gourmet kitchen that made family meals easy. The kids loved the access to the pool, gondola, hot tubs and a plus to have pizza just downstairs. We couldn't have asked for a better home base for our Tahoe trip and would definitely love to stay here again!

Great Village Condo

Excellent village accommodation for a ski-week stay. The check in process was easy, parking under the building was convenient, and the location is perfect for access to the Ritz gondola and village restaurants.

Lovely place, just as pictured.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was clean, quiet, and just perfect for our ski week. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved that we could walk to either gondola in the morning. Check-in was so easy, and the property manager was responsive to our questions. Loved the secure parking as well. It was just as pictured and we would love to stay here again.

Summer at Northstar

The condo is top notch all around. Lovely furnishings, great layout and relaxing view from the deck. It is so wonderfully quit inside! Even with Friday nightlife outside and children next door it was very quiet. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Excellent location, clean and quiet

The unit was in a wonderful location in the heart of Northstar, close to the gym and hot tubs. It was clean and spacious. Well supplied with soaps, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. the unit was quiet which was important to me as I am light sleeper. Make sure you bring oil, sugar, and any spices as those were not provided. However, we were welcomed nicely with wine and coffee. Would stay again and will try to book for a future stay.

Northstar Condo Feb 2025

We received very detailed arrival instructions, which were accurate and easy to follow. Underground parking is a luxury in this winter environment (we got 32" of snow upon our arrival). The condo is very well appointed, and comfortable, just as it appears in the photos. The beds were very comfortable. All appliances, heat, fireplace worked as advertised. We would have appreciated a word of warning about the outdoor music at the skating rink that runs 3-6pm. A post-skiing nap is out of the question. A warning about the traffic trying to exit the complex in the early evening (once the lift s close, it took 40 minutes to exit the Northstar property) would also have been helpful. . Otherwise we appreciated the proximity to the gondola, and chair lift. Be aware that the cost of services here reflect the location.

Great condo, so-so village

The condo was excellent, and is just as described in the listing. Northstar skiing was uncrowned on weekdays. But Northstar Village is pretty empty. Very few restaurants are open for dinner, and some close as early as 7:30. Best to have a car to go into Truckee (which also closes up pretty early.).

A week at Northstar

Perfect location and a cozy unit in a great building. Parking in the building and a locker for skis were both nice benefits. Would definitely book again.

Perfect condo!

The condo exceeded our expectations! The manager, Brooke, was extremely professional and answered all of our questions. The condo itself is perfect—very spacious and well set-up. Our family of 4 had plenty of room. The owner has clearly thought of every detail to make for a comfortable stay (including humidifiers and fans for both bedrooms). The location can’t be beat—we enjoyed the restaurants on site as well as the pool/hot tubs and had easy access to river rafting, bike riding and zip-lining. My family did not want to leave—we can’t wait to book again!
