Great place to stay! Condo was very clean and super inviting. Lots of room for everyone. Great place to stay if you have teens needing a bit of freedom. Location to shops and restaurants was awesome.

The counters were still sticky, place was not that clean. Overpriced due to most businesses have shut down at the village. Front desk did not have good communication with whoever we spoke to let us check in a hour early. We actually had to call ourselves.

We are very sorry to hear that the cleanliness of the residence did not meet expectations upon your arrival. That’s certainly not the standard we strive for, and we will be following up with our housekeeping team right away to address this. We also want to clarify the early check-in process. The front desk where you check in is not able to authorize early check-ins, as all arrival timing is managed directly through us at (Tahoe Exclusive Vacation Rentals). We always ask guests to call us directly the day of arrival so we can confirm if the residence is ready early and notify the front desk accordingly. We are sorry if that wasn’t communicated more clearly. We also understand the Village can feel quieter at certain times of year, and we appreciate that perspective. Thank you again for your feedback—it’s incredibly helpful as we continue to improve both our communication and guest experience. We do hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Great Location

This is our 2nd time back to Iron Horse 208. The location is perfect. And, the beds are great. Perfect for a gathering with friends and family.

Quiet ski condo in Village

We have rented condos in the Village since it was constructed and this is one of our favorites. First, it is on the backside of Iron Horse South, so it is quieter than units on the opposite site. Second, it was perfectly suited for our family, with one side of the condo for our son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren while the other side, where the master bedroom was, gave us and them privacy. We were frustrated with the TV reception and believe that it is the fault of the living room internet connection for Iron Horse South, not these owners. It would often freeze up and then just quit. The Village's current food options were not particularly good for very young families and were limited to one pizza restaurant. There used to be a pretty good deli (Copper Lane) which has been turned into a beer warehouse. We recommend bringing in food for meals from home or shopping at the grocery stores in Truckee. You can also take the gondola behind Iron Horse South to the Ritz for meals if your budget is unrestricted. There is a delightful children's buffet in Manzanita with child-friendly offerings our grandchildren loved.The unit was well-stocked with everything we needed such as towels, bedding, paper towels, some spices and cooking aids as well as all dishes and appliances that anyone would need. There was a charming balcony we sat on in the sun to watch the skiers come in. We hope to return again.

Excellent choice for a perfect Condo!

Everything was perfect except for the electronic cards were programmed with the wrong condo so it didn't work for letting us access the building, garage, and the condo! however, they programmed it correctly the next morning!

Sun filled Condo in the Village, need better Internet

Great condo in the Village. The welcome gift bottle of wine was a very nice touch. The only issue, and it was a big one, is the Internet. For an3 bedroom condo, there were only 4 of us, and if more than 1 was on a Zoom call, the connections slowed down dramatically.

Perfect location for our family of 4

We had a lovely time at this rental. The location was perfect and conveniently located, with two little kids getting them to ski school in the morning. The place was much bigger than what we needed, but would go back with another family. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and pantry items for cooking.

Best home away

I cannot even begin to explain how absolutely perfect this place was for our family. It is so close to everything, the convenience was just beyond. The kids could ride the gondola with ease right next to us, we walked downstairs to eat dinner, the kids went ice skating twice in our too short of a visit. It was immaculate and the interior is so modern and beautiful. We will definitely rebook here again! The best part… we asked for a late check out and they were thankfully able to accommodate us which helped for our drive back. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for the memories!
