Relax in this 1959 William Krisel-designed Alexander home in the famous Racquet Club Estates, once owned by cinematographer Arthur Arling, who worked on Gone with the Wind and won an Oscar for The Yearling (1946). Situated on a quiet corner lot, you will be amazed by the stunning views of Mount San Jacinto.

Unpack and unwind in the the more than 14,000 square ft of outdoor entertainment space with multiple shaded seating areas, an outdoor dining area, an elevated cabana, sparkling pool, putting green, and an outdoor fire pit.

This 3 bedroom / 2 bath home features polished concrete floors throughout, updated modern bathrooms and a recently remodeled kitchen. Located just miles from downtown, you have easy access to great restaurants, shopping, nightlife, casinos, spas and the famous Palm Springs tramway.

Ideally situated on a quiet residential street that’s only a few minutes by car from everything Palm Springs offers. You’re less than five minutes by car from the chic Uptown Design District, downtown’s eclectic tourist mecca, and just one extra minute to the newly burgeoning East Palm Canyon Corridor of swanky bars, beach clubs, coffee and breakfast joints, and popular restaurants.

Minimum length of stay and special rates may apply during certain seasonal events.

There is an optional pool heating available for a fee, (when needed). Depending upon length of stay, utility charges may apply.

Upon acceptance of the reservation you will be required to sign a Rental Agreement directly with the management company – 365 Vacation Rentals

The Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance requires the following:

All persons must be at least 25 years of age or accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
The maximum number of guests shall not exceed posted limits. This includes ALL children AND infants.
Outdoor music of any kind or excessive noise is not permitted at any time.
No more than 1 car per bedroom is allowed per home. 3 car maximum.

Failure to do so will result in fines being issued directly to the occupant of the home and you will forfeit your security deposit. Please refer to your rental agreement or ask for greater detail.

Please note this home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this home is not a party house.

Wonderful 5 days!

The property is exactly as advertised - perfect space for a family of four. Pool and hot tub were well heated and nice to use throughout the day. House was wonderfully appointed with necessities - toiletries, basic pantry items, paper products, towels, etc. We enjoy cooking at home and was also pleasantly surprised with the quality of kitchen appliances, pots/pans, etc. Jerry the property manager was wonderful and responsive! Was able to accommodate entry a little early and check out a little late. Would definitely come back - kids had a great time.

My family and I loved walking out to the pool everyday with that amazing view of the mountains. Just a short drive to a bunch of amazing hiking spots too.

Wonderful Stay, Wonderful Property

There were a few nice surprises that were there but not in the listing at the time of my booking, such as a spa, raised firepit, nice upgrades around the yard in general. Well equiped kitchen, linens, paper products, soaps, etc. Just enjoy. Yhe only negative was yhe washing machine had a very bad odor as it didn't drain and the door was shut. We took care of it with the tub cleaning cycle, but housekeeping should be aware of that.

Exceptional stay

We stayed here for a week with our college-age kids. The house is well-appointed and maintained and the yard is fantastic! We spent 90% of our time in the vast yard at the numerous sitting areas or in the pool. Downtown PS is an easy 35-45 min walk. We will definitely stay here again!

Outstanding mid-century home in Palm Springs

Fantastic place for a vacation. Even better than advertised—photos are spot-on but don’t capture all the nice extras like pool toys, bar cart, comfy blankets, and closet full of kids games, toys, and books. Pool, mountain views, spacious yard, sitting areas, fire pit, and privacy put this over the top. Convenient to downtown but no reason to leave.

Perfect House for a family holiday

We really enjoyed our pre-Christmas week at this thoughtfully restored and appointed mid-mod home. The huge landscaped yard with pool fire putting green and and raised cabana were a wonderful plus. The manager was a good communicator. We would love to return again someday.

Fantastic Property

The house was very well equipped, especially the kitchen, so we were able to have meals at home throughout our stay. The entertainment center included a fantastic sound system and high quality TV. The property behind the home was mind blowing large with a decent size pool and multiple comfortable seating areas. We will definitely continue to book our stays with 365 Vacation Rentals.

Even better than the pictures!

We were first drawn to this property by the stunning outdoor photos—and the backyard was even better than advertised. Even though we visited Palm Springs in January, we spent most of the daylight hours (and a few evenings by the fire pit) outside. It was like having our own private resort in the backyard! The home is perfect for a family (we traveled with two kids ages 1 and 4 and the kid's nanny). The bunk bed room was filled with toys and games that were great for the youngsters. There's also an outdoor bin filled with toys for the pool, which was fun for kids and adults. Oh, and there's even a sandbox in the corner of the yard. The beds were all comfortable and kitchen was perfect for cooking meals at home (we did have to purchase our own spices due to Covid concerns, though). One day the blender broke and property manager was quick to deliver a brand new replacement. The location was great for our group. You can easily walk or drive to downtown Palm Springs. There's a park and playground about a block away. And most of the major sites in Palm Springs were a short 10-15 minute drive away. We did read some reviews saying the neighborhood was on the windy side of the city, but the wind was only an issue during one day of our two-week stay. The only thing we'd change is to make the pool just a little warmer. We chose to have the pool heated for an added fee. Most days it was refreshing, but it felt a little cool on certain days when the air temp dipped below 75. That didn't keep our 4-year-old out of the water, though. :-) Would definitely recommend this property to others and hope to return again someday!

Perfect Desert Oasis

Where do I even begin? The backyard is INCREDIBLE! Private and comfortable with what seemed like endless options to relax. The pictures of the pool don’t do if justice!!! It’s large and deep making it perfect to float the day away in. We heated the pool which was a great decision even with daytime temps in the high 90’s. The home is comfortable with plenty of space to enjoy. The MCM decor is super cute and gives the full Palm Springs experience. As soon as this review is done I’m looking at dates to book our next visit! Check in/out process was super easy. Kudos to Jerry! Super friendly and easy to communicate with. A couple request that would make the home even more over the top: plastic wine glasses/dinnerware to use at the pool area and a full size ironing board to make getting ready for a night out easier. Thanks for a great week!!

Didn’t Want To Leave the Backyard

This 3 bedroom house was the perfect size for our family of 4. We spent most of our time outside in the amazing backyard. The loungers are super comfortable and the pool was perfect. Our family enjoyed the pool toys and the putting green. My husband walked to get coffee nearby but I told him I wasn’t leaving the backyard and during our 9 night stay, I only left the house once! I wish this house had better pool towels (they are short so you need 2 on a lounger) and I wish they had room darkening curtains or shades so my kids would have slept past 6:30! Palm Springs is windy so lots of leaves blew into the pool every night but it was quick to use the pool skimmer. We would definitely rent this house again.

Perfect Summer Getaway!

We stayed here last summer for a month with two kidos (7 and 10) and could not have enjoyed our vacation more. Even when the heat peaked at 120, the pool and property were refreshing. Tip: bring water shoes for the kids, we had to purchase some there. The yard and pool were immaculate. Just like the photos with not even a pebble out of place. Lots of shady spots too when needed. Kids had a great time with the pool toys, which made the property feel welcoming to families. Property managers were very prompt with any request we had. Property was close enough to downtown that all restaurants delivered, but far enough away that you still feel secluded. Amazing home, perfect back yard, wonderful views and well managed. We are already trying to book again : )

Top Notch MCM experience

We loved the overall MCM design & decor this home has, both outside and inside. Some of the art and furnishings are authentic to the period (not reproductions). The floors throughout are polished concrete. The kitchen was well equipped, but heavy on the knives and serving bowls, and low on baking sheets/oven-proof cooking gear. One bedroom has many books to choose from. The main suite has a great stock of Dwell and Real Simple magazines, and the home overall has California and MCM coffee table books to flip through. The middle bedroom had lots of toys...a basket of Trolls, My Little Ponies, crayons and coloring books. Board games, an Etch-a-Sketch, and more. Rounding back to the MCM nature of this home was the wonderful selection of vintage children's books! I adore vintage children's books, and I spent more time looking at them than my daughter did! The yard is a great size here. We didn't necessarily use every inch of it, but we liked that we didn't feel hemmed in. We had almost no bugs to contend with, except for one night this large black beetle visited the patio. Being from the humid muggy midwest, it was nice to sit outside and not slap myself all night. There are inflatables to use in the pool, and dive toys. Pumps are present. Location is convenient, and it was a very short car ride to grab coffee, the Albertsons, and downtown PS. We enjoyed staying here and would do it again.

This is a treasure!

We spent a wonderful week as three generations getting some good quality time together. The house and garden are beautifully designed and functional . The kitchen is well equipped. The beds comfortable . Very clean and well cared for. A quiet neighborhood. I hope we can visit here again .
