Great place to stay!

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean, extremely spacious and had plenty of room for our party of 7. Would definitely stay here again!

Bear Pause was an excellent vacation stay for up to 10 people, The house is in great shape, hot tub was awesome and the staff at Winter Park Lodging were excellent!

Great space and location

Property was very clean and well equipped with everything we could have asked for. Conveniently located a short drive to a grocery store, restaurants, etc. and an easy drive to the mountain.

Winter park get away

The property was fantastic. Clean, bright and plenty of room. The best was the stocked kitchen including spices and the hot tub!!

What a beautiful property! House has everything you need. Beds are comfortable and it’s close to Safeway, restaurants and walking trails. A quick 30 minute drive to Grand Lake. Highly recommend driving to Winter Park resort and taking the gondola up to the top!

Bear Pause

We had 7 adults and 5 kids under 6 years old. We loved the house, we had plenty of room and the location was perfect for us. We will be back.

Family Ski Vacation

The Winter Park Staff was wonderful. Everything at the Bear Pause rental was top notch and we had no issues or concerns. They checked on us throughout our stay to makes sure we were comfortable and had no questions. I will be back again next year for sure!

Highly recommend

This property was clean, beautiful, and close to everything! The heating system works extremely well, so you might want to turn the temp way down before bedtime. The hot tub was really clean.

Excellent

Great location and views. We were active in the area appreciating the quiet surroundings in the evening. RMNP was our main goal to visit and this house is not far from the entrance. Check in and out was easy and low impact. Thanks for hosting our family.

Great house!

The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving. The spaces worked really well for us (family with kids downstairs, older parents on ground level, adult couple upstairs). Property was responsive with a couple random questions I had.

Family Summer Weekend

We had a great time! The house fit all 11 of us comfortably for a long weekend. Will certainly recommend this home to others coming to the area. The home construction next door could be a nuisance for anyone staying during weekdays.

amazing place excellent customer service

An absolutely beautiful home. Customer Service is spectacular,,,. David was very nice with helping me find this place for my small vacation. My mother and my sister and brother really enjoyed everything. Super really appreciate the Winter Park lodging team,, not all superheroes wear capes.

Great house. Good location. Beds were comfortable & house was clean and in great condition. They did say construction was going on next door. We were surprised that it included Sat and Sunday. Very loud and noisy. Needed to keep windows shut and couldn’t comfortably enjoy the deck.

Great space for families with kids

The home was perfect for our 4 adults and 5 children! The separate living room space in the basement gave us the opportunity to spread out a bit when needed/wanted. There were plenty of towels and starter supplies needed for the week. Any easy location to get to and from Winter Park for skiing and close to the grocery store too! Would definitely recommend Bear Pause!

Views & comfort

Great location with easy access to main arteries and quiet dirt roads. Well equipped, great appliances (I might be upgrading my own after using their stove), nice open floor plan. The hot tub was clean and towels were nearby. There was some cleaning issues that I reported but the rental team was very responsive and promptly offered to send out a cleaning crew! Great service.

Bear Pause In Fraser

This is our second stay at Bear Pause. Although most people don't spend much time watching TV, why are there TVs in the bedrooms and no signal to watch anything? Everything else was wonderful!

Loved Bear Pause

Bear Pause was an excellent home away from home. It's located in a beautiful quiet community with lots of dirt roads for walking and enjoying the lovely scenery; lots of trees; wildlife; beautiful views of the mountains and sunset. Our family loved to use the deck on the main level throughout the day. It was well covered at all points or the day and even during rain. When we arrived at the rental, it was meticulously cleaned! That made us really happy considering it is an animal friendly rental. Much appreciation to the cleaning crew for taking great care of this home and making sure it was an excellent condition when we arrived. The house is very well stocked, the check out directions were SO easy and staff did such an excellent job communicating and checking in. Thank you for the great stay. We loved the Fraser/Winter Park area so much and can't wait to come back and rent again
