Good bones but bad make up

Close to being an overall good property. Pros: close to old town La Quinta.Cons: The house needs a more comprehensive manual. The dishwasher needs repair and some parts of the house needed a deep clean. The bedroom linens need to be replaced. Needs more waste bins in the house. TVs and remotes in various states of working order.

Disappointing

The property was not at all as described. It was NOT new construction; it was NOT clean; and the amenities were lacking. Simple improvements could be made such as more towels, hooks in the bathroom, and hangers in the closets. The pool chair cushions had mold growing on them - we couldn’t use them, and the entire house was simply just dirty. We bought bed pillows because those on the beds were filthy. Such a disappointment.

Nice home in central location

Clean home with comfortable beds and bathrooms with privacy for all. Worked well with two couples and two single members of our group.

Holiday in desert

Enjoyed our stay in this location. There could've been netter instructions for the television. The internet is not sufficient. It was a good place for cooking and swimming.

Great Property for our Golf Trip

Home was perfect for our trip. Really nice having 65 inch TVs in each bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent appliances in the kitchen.

As advertised but starting to show some wear

Generally speaking, this property is one of the better VRBO properties that we have stayed at in the La Quinta area. The description was accurate and everything worked well without the need to contact the management. That said, I view the above as what should really be the baseline standard for any property. In this instance, I think that, while the property meets those criteria and is updated to current finishes, it is starting to show some wear and could use some TLC / maintenance throughout the house. I would also recommend that the owners consider adding certain basics that are missing, such as a teapot/kettle. All told, we were very happy with our stay and wholly recommend the property.

Quiet and Serene Location

Beautifully laid out floor plan. Quiet and serene location. Nicely furnished. Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights . Definitely will consider coming back in the future.

Nice open spaces in home. The small pools and spa provided a quiet retreat. Loved the sun rising on the mountains in the morning.

Nice convenient spot

Perfect spot and layout for the annual golf trip. Host was great, everything was as described. Only small gripe would be soft mattresses on squeaky beds. Would definitely book again. Thanks David

Friends get together

We met with friends from Nebraska and Oregon and we are from Washington state all of which were having very cold and winter weather. It was great to have the pool and outdoor space to hangout and enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. The house was great for 8 adults with plenty of room for everyone.

Wonderful Property

We had such a nice stay. The property is just like it says in the listing. Big bedrooms, nice size great kitchen. Pool and hot tub area was clean and spacious. Everythig was stocked for everyday use items. Will definetly come back!

Lovely, But Missing A Few Things

The home has a lovely layout, even for a larger group. The pool heat / hot tub was what we expected and perfect for us, though too small for a larger group to enjoy together. The kitchen was stocked with many things, but missing a few: not hot pads, wash cloths, outdoor (plastic) dinnerware, and the ice maker did not work. There master bath had a hair dryer and shower soaps, etc, but was missing a waste basket. When we hunted one from the other bathrooms, we realized there were only 2 for four bathrooms. The laundry space and the soap / dryer sheets available was a lovely touch we appreciated. Overall, the home is lovely and comfortable. It felt as though there was a lack of attention to upkeep (for instance, air returns were caked with debris / dust). I wonder if the owner or property manager might visit the property and look at the details to make a nice property an excellent one.

Great House for Golf Trip!! Spa and Pool issues.

This house was great, lots of room for 4 golfers, nice layout, nice features. It was everything we wanted in a place. We had ongoing issues figuring out how to operate the pool and spa... which we paid extra to have heated. The pool and spa were cold when we arrived. We are all 45 y/o men of at least average intelligence... but we couldn't figure out the controls for heating the spa and pool with consistency. We reached out to the owner for help which wasn't very helpful, although they did turn the spa heat on for us at one point. But I don't think the owner understood how frustrated we were to not be able to use something we paid extra for. We maybe crossed the line when we suggested someone else was controlling the spa and pool because nothing we did ever worked or lasted long enough to heat the spa and pool. We were told we were maybe to stupid to figure it out and that we were dumber than 99.9 % of the guests that never had any problem with the pool and spa. Tempers were short and things were said that might be regretted... but regardless, as customers that were obviously struggling to use what we paid for, we would have liked a little more service to help us out. We were very nice about the pool and spa day one... but by day 4 of not having any success we would have liked maybe some better instruction, or even a visit to see what we were dealing with? It might have been possible that something wasn't working and the owner if able to see it on our end could have fixed it.
