Mini vacation

Pleasant refurbished holiday apartment in good location. Have stayed at this site before. Take your beach towels and kitchen supplies, but the basics were provided.

Great location

This location of the Forest Beach Villas is extremely close and convenient to Coligny Beach. That’s a huge plus. We enjoyed our stay. Overall the unit was nice. The beds in the 2nd bedroom were very comfortable twins. The king bed was extremely uncomfortable and way too high. You have to jump into it. I am also convinced the sheets weren’t washed when we arrived. The floor throughout had an enormous amount of sand on it. Thankfully we had access to a vacuum so we took care of that right away. The kitchen has the basic necessities, however, the quality of the pans was extremely cheap. Very old coffee maker. Very little counter space. TV’s are too small for the size of the rooms they are located in. The bathroom tissue supplied was so cheap and thin we immediately had to go replace it. When your paying a certain amount per night you don’t expect such poor quality amenities. The location really saved the experience. We come to Hilton Head every summer and we’ve stayed at different villas. This one didn’t provide any extras like beach chairs, bikes, beach carts, etc. The king bed was really an issue in terms of comfort but someone else might love it. The community pool was okay and seemed clean. No hot tub. Overall it was good. Pretty expensive. I’m sure that’s driven more by the location than amenities.

Great location and place

This was our first time staying in this unit. The location is great with easy access to the beach and Coligny. The place was really nice and the beds were super comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. A few minor things that could be looked at/fixed: The AC has a hard time keeping up and ran all the time. The outlets might need to be replaced in the master bath/bedroom. They don’t hold the plugs really well. The twin bed closest to the door needs to have the bed frame tightened; it squeaked with every movement.

Very “whalecoming”!

We very much enjoyed our stay and loved the Whalecome sign in the living room! Everything was very clean, well kept, and quiet. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Great location!

Loved our two day stay at unit 100 Forest Beach Villas. Perfect location with easy access to Coligny shops, restaurants and beach. Pool was wonderful after a long day at the beach.

Great condo and location

The condo was nice and bright. Loved to sit and relax out on the balcony. It is walking distance from lots of resaurants and the beach. You access the beach at Coligny Beach Park. Wonderful size for two people and would be comfortable for 4. King bed is comfortable (firm). Kitchen is well supplied. Would stay here again.

Lovely and mostly quiet. Easy to walk to places as well. Modern and clean. The only complaint I would have would be the shade in the bedroom did not block out the light from the street lamp and the AC unit was a bit loud. Otherwise it was a pleasure to stay there.

Great Location

This place is in a fantastic location. It is easy/shaded walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach! It was very handy to have a full sized washer and dryer, and they even provided some laundry pods! The condo was super clean, and it had a very nice floor plan. 😃 The only cons of the place was the master ceiling fan wouldn’t come on with any switch or pulling the chord. I let them know, so I’m sure it will be fixed. I just have a hard time sleeping without it. Also, the noise from the parking lot was loud at times. For example, you could here car alarms and trash trucks beeping since you are on the first floor. This was not enough for me to say I wouldn’t stay here again though. It was still awesome!!!

A Great Six Weeks

We've learned over the years that rentals are never quite as nice as the pictures, but we were very pleased with how clean this unit was upon arrival. The kitchen was very well stocked, the king bed quite comfortable. Minor issues brought prompt responses from the Vacasa staff. Our only issue would be with the living room seating. The overstuffed brown chair needs replacing as is quite out of shape and the pillow shed feathers everywhere. The leather recliner was comfortable, but when one reclined in it, it would not come back up to it's upright position. It must have been quite comical to see a person in their mid-70s trying to "slither" out of the recliner so they could push it back up straight by pushing the leg rest back. The sofa bed was ok (these are for function rather than comfort--we get it.) All in all, it was an enjoyable stay with a great location--one can walk to numerous restaurants and the beach. We would consider returning next year if our age doesn't impede our ability to travel from the midwest.

Good stay

We really enjoyed our time for the week at this rental. Overall the place was spacious, comfortable, and well located. The only issue was that we did have to wash and dry all the linens on the beds upon arrival since they were completely full of other people’s little hairs and with stains. This wasn’t a great tone upon arrival, but otherwise everything was quite lovely. I’d also suggest adding a rug in the living space to make the space more cozy.

Forest Beach Villas 100 July 2021

This was a great place to stay. The best part was having a washing machine (so we didn't have to go to a laundromat) and a dishwasher. The beds were comfortable, the condo facility was nice and clean, and the location was close to the beach. There was plenty of parking, and it was easy to go from the parking garage to the condo. The only thing I would caution on is the floor throughout the condo is tile. It's really easy to get dirty and hard to ignore. What we did was get a dry Swiffer and Swiffer everyday. Easy fix.

Beach

While it is walking distance to beach it is across the road which is t as close as I thought. It is close to walking to Cologne plaza for shopping and eating which is very nice. Also the condo needed to have more items such as a bigger frying pan , dish towels, more than 1 pot holder and maybe some small starter items like salt and pepper for example. Also dish towels and some cleaning supplies would of been nice to have. It also needs new beds and new furniture very outdated and not comfortable.

The perfect vacation!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Hilton Head! The villa was perfect! It was a beautiful place, located on the first floor and just a short distance to the beach, shops, and restaurant. We enjoyed a few meals on the patio, lounged by the pool, took a day trip to Savannah and even went shrimp trawling, which was a family favorite!
