Welcome to Spring Meadow!
Experience the beauty of Acadia National Park, the quaint village of Town Hill, and the downtown areas of Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor from this spacious, well-designed, and conveniently located country-style home. Situated in rural Bar Harbor in the charming village of Town Hill, this home is set back nicely from the main road on a pretty 27-acre wooded meadow lot offering privacy and lots of space for outdoor activities. With approximately 3,000 sq. ft of interior living space, nice furnishings, and an updated kitchen, you're sure to find this cozy home in the perfect location for your vacation to Mount Desert Island. Town Hill offers a charming country store with an ice cream window, a few restaurants, and a nice playground with a ball field. And with this home's convenient location, many park entrances and trailheads as well as Bar Harbor's busy downtown area are within 5 to 15 minutes by car or catch the free Island Explorer shuttle as it passes through the Town Hill area.
*New 2 mini-split Heat/AC units downstairs (Dining/Living/Kitchen and Den) and 4 units upstairs, one in each Bedroom.
FIRST FLOOR: The main entryway leads to a comfy Den with television on the left and a cozy Living Room on the right with meadow views and sliding doors to a furnished outdoor patio. Beyond is the Dining Area with seating for up to 10 people and the spacious Kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a center island with five bar stools. A separate large Family Room with a gas fireplace, plenty of seating, and a flat-screen TV makes for a great space for gathering as a group or retreating from the other living areas, and this family room includes a sectional sofa and a separate queen sleeper sofa. Also on the first floor is a large Full Bathroom with a combined tub and shower, and a Laundry area with a large capacity washer and dryer.
SECOND FLOOR: Four Bedrooms on this level offer three King beds and a children's room with two sets of Bunk beds as well as the second Full Bath with a combined tub and shower.
OUTDOOR SPACES: A furnished patio area off the Living Room with a propane grill and picnic tables, and a child's tree house with plenty of lawn and meadow space enhances outdoor enjoyment. Please note: An exterior security camera is on the garage at this property.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our large family. The kitchen was spacious and very well stocked with everything we needed—even enough to bake cookies! The property was beautiful. The kids loved it. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

probably the best equipped property that we've ever stayed at. It was clean, close to Acadia. It's very expansive property. Quiet, quiet a bit close enough to everything we needed. Everything was thought of and provided.Will definitely go back!

Very very comfortable stay for a family of 4 with two adventurous little kids. Our boys loved roaming the large safe property in a great location for everything we wanted to do on the island. We saw turkey, deer, and fox out in the field during morning coffee or winding down at the end of the day. The treehouse was of course a hit and I'm sure we will have to come back for every future visit to Acadia.

This was a great space for my husband and me and our five young adult children. Plenty of space for everyone, great kitchen space and plenty of dishes, and comfortable beds and rooms. The outside temperature was quite cool when we were there, and it took us a bit to figure out the mini-split so we could get heat instead of AC, but we got it figured out, and it was then very comfortable. We enjoyed hiking in Acadia National Park, including Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, and climbing the Beehive. In Southwest Harbor, we played a round of mini golf at Golf of Maine and enjoyed delicious seafood at Eat-A-Pita. We also enjoyed pizza at West Eden Pizza in Bar Harbor. We would totally stay here again!

Great location, nice stay
The location was perfect for visiting all over Acadia park and downtown Bar Harbor. The place was very nice as well.

This is a lovely property. There’s lots of space inside and out, and it’s very clean and well equipped. It is close to the park, for outdoor adventures, and easy driving distance to shops and restaurants.

Great location, great property
Perfect central location to get to most trailheads and locations on MDI within 30min drive at worst. Local real estate business, very professional and friendly. Property itself was good too, large yard good kitchen comfy beds very clean and well kept. Highly recommend for family or friend trip with 4 people.

Our stay was very nice... knowles was very helpful and accurate. It was not as clean when we arrived on October 4...as when we left today October11.

Beautiful House
House was in fantastic condition; Kitchen was spacious and well stocked, Bedrooms worked perfectly for our group, back porch and yard were great for morning coffee. We were visited by turkey daily and several buck throughout the week. Good location for visiting Bar Harbor, Acadia and the rest of MDI.

Quiet comfortable property - lovely setting.
House was well furnished and equipped. The property is lovely with warblers singing and deer grazing. Convenient to Southwest Harbor. We enjoyed the stay and will return again.

MDI marathon and Acadia
Group of 10 visiting for the MDI marathon/half and Acadia.
Loved the quiet location. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare dinner at the end of a day of hiking/exploring.

Comfortable spacious home with beautiful surroundings
Many perks to this home. A good kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, lots of gathering areas, and a huge meadow. There’s a fine treehouse too! Our second visit was lots of fun.

Wonderful property
This very spacious property worked well for our family. Almost everything we wanted to do was only 15 minutes away and we found the property itself very relaxing. The kitchen is also stocked with every kitchen tool we could imagine.

Spacious house on large property
We loved the spacious house and that it is set far off the road, so we never worried about the children playing outside. They loved the treehouse.

Perfect Home Base for Exploring Mt. Desert Island
Great property and wonderful location. Only minutes to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The house was well-equiped for making meals for our group of 10 (five kids, five adults). The large field was perfect for playing kickball or aerobie with the kids, between the hiking/biking trips to Acadia and sightseeing/shopping in Bar Harbor. Every morning we were greeted by either a flock of turkeys or deer grazing across the property. Also, a family of chipmunks by the grill provided entertainment while dinner cooked and the kids enjoyed a little downtime in the treehouse or rec room. Would highly recommend!
