Sunflower Cottage is located on a quiet side street in Bar Harbor close to Acadia National Park (Cadillac Mountain entrance), Kebo Valley Golf Course as well as all downtown Bar Harbor restaurants/shops within 1 mile. A short walking away is Parsons Lobsters, one of the best fresh seafood providers on the island, selling lobsters and other seafood caught by local fishermen from the shores of Acadia.
Recently remodeled with careful attention to detail, this beautiful Colonial home will welcome you and offer a place to relax and unwind while you enjoy all the beauty of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor areas. Spacious parking area allows for 3 cars to park on-premises in front of the covered front entry porch.
The main level of the house offers an entry hall leading to an open kitchen/dining area with a slider leading out to nice sized deck with mountain and seasonal views of Kebo Valley Golf Course. A fully stocked kitchen makes it easy for you to prepare a meal and the large dining room is great for entertaining and sharing special moments. The living room and the family room areas provide 55" smart TV, books and games for relaxation after a day of adventure in the park. Dedicated office space with a desk and high-speed wireless internet is provided if you need to take work with you. The upper floor offers 1 large King master bedroom suite with walk-in closet across and a large double-vanity bathroom with shower, along with 3 additional bedrooms (Queen, Full, and Twin beds) and another double-vanity full bathroom.
You will also have access to washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, lobster pot, Wi-Fi internet, and Spectrum/Samsung TV channels. Owner’s basement and garage (separated by locked door) are the only areas off limits. We want you to be comfortable and fully enjoy your stay and love Bar Harbor as much as we do. The property manager is nearby and happy to assist with making your time here delightful.
Sunflower Cottage is available for rent with a 4-night minimum reservation. A $300 cleaning charge per stay will apply to all reservation. Our home is a non-smoking and “shoes off” rental.

House was extremely clean, beds were comfortable. Make sure to notice the upstairs AC unit controls are hidden in the master bedroom closet.

Great house for our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. The house was clean and well stocked for us. The host was very responsive, especially when the fire alarm went off in early morning. I do wish there were dressers to store our clothing but that’s just a minor thing that didn’t change the quality of the house or the host!Book with confidence.

Home was exactly as advertised. Accommodations worked well for 5 adults staying 5 nights. Located as described with an easy drive to several entrances in Acadia and downtown a manageable walk. The house was stocked with the basics. Enjoyed the covered deck out back. We would rent again!

The house was incredibly clean and in such a convenient spot. It was easy to get into downtown Bar Harbor as well as Acadia. The only issue we had was that the wifi was very weak. We would stay here again though!

This property was wonderful for a family vacation (5 adults, a 5 year old and a two year old). The neighborhood is quiet yet so close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia N.P. Host was quick with communication. Home was clean, with comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. We appreciated how the floors and stairs didn't creak at all, and how the kitchen, dining room, and living room flowed together for family time, and how there was also a separate family room.

This was a great place for our girls' getaway. Plenty of space for everyone and nicely stocked kitchen. Convenient to town and the park.

House held the 6 of us comfortably and the host provided everything you could need ( paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, kitchen supplies and a snack. We walked downtown and up Cadillac mountain- long walk but definitely walkable. Great communication with the host. We reported a problem and it was fixed immediately.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family and outside the town just enough to be peaceful and outside the chaos of downtown Bar Harbor.

Good location for visiting Acadia

This house was in a great location and very clean when we arrived. Jane, our host, always responded very quickly to all of my inquiries. We had a great vacation!

This house was a perfect location to enjoy Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, only a mile or so from each place. The house provided plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The host was quick to respond, and the house was fully equipped for a great vacation. I would highly recommend this house.

Family Time in Bar Harbor
It was a nice and well kept property. We needed three bathrooms which this property had. I would stay again.

Perfect vacation
Location is great, about a mile to town. Quiet neighborhood. There were 7 adults that stayed & we had plenty of room.

Great place to stay in Bar Harbor
The Sunflower Cottage was convenient to Acadia and downtown. Very clean and comfortable!! Our group of six adults had plenty of room. We would definitely keep this on the list of places to return to.

Location, location, location
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, well stocked, and convenient for all our activities in Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. At the same time, it was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood away from the busyness of the town. Would definitely stay here again in the future if we return to Bar Harbor.
