Please read full description as Douglas Lake is a fluctuating lake and lake levels are seasonal.

Completely remodeled Douglas Lake Front Cabin. This cabin is within 25 minutes to Pigeon Forge / Dollywood area and 30 minutes to Gatlinburg / Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Our cabin consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Living room has fireplace and the kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary items. Large outdoor patio area with screen porch. The patio area is equipped with table and chairs that overlooks the lake and is partially covered for when you want a little shade or if it's raining. There is also a fire pit on the patio which is great for making smores after a long day exploring Douglas Lake. There is a charcoal grill, for your use. Master bedroom has access to a large deck overlooking Douglas lake. There is a boat ramp on-site for those who wish to bring their own boat. There is also a private dock.

Douglas Lake is a fluctuating lake.Its levels are controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The typical off season runs from September thru Mid-April. During the off season the lake levels can drop approximately 40'. Please email your questions regarding lake accessibility during these times before booking.

Had a wonderful time staying for the week here. The house was clean and decorated very cute. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. We enjoyed the screened in area and porch areas. Thankfully there is a shared boat ramp at this house because the the stairs and dock are very dangerous and steep and was not able to use them the entire time to go swimming. There is no ladder to get back on the dock and without hand rails we did not feel safe. Also no washer and dryer which isn't listed in the description but is kinda a bummer for a lake home where you have towels and wet swim suits. Overall though the home is very nice and would recommend it just a few small upgrades would make a huge difference in experience.

The hosts were very helpful when we needed something, it was a nice & quiet place to stay, the lake was pretty even in the off season when they lower the water.

Nice quiet getaway

Enjoyed the cabin. Location is rural enough to be quiet but close enough to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg to catch some tourist attractions.

The property was sitting on a hill on the lake and the views were gorgeous. House was clean and easy to get to. We enjoyed our weekend there!

Quiet Relaxing Getaway

Tucked back at a dead road, with beautiful view of lake. Private boat launch (shared with a neighbor), deck. Fishing every day with quiet evenings on the deck. Jason and Amy were great hosts.

Very quiet area. Beautiful quaint house with a big deck area. Cute screened in porch. Very clean and it has everything we needed. The lake was drained more than I expected. Maybe show pictures of what the property looks like when this happens in the off season. A little tricky at first to find the road. We had a pleasant stay!
