Nice stay but some issues

The house was very nice the neighborhood was run down, going up to the house and around the house TV on the back deck did not work they needed a privacy screen going up on the back deck to make it more privacy .for the hot tub the hot tub had soap like bubbles, internet kept going down. Wrong internet and password provided. All in all was a good stay.

2/14/25-2/16/25I read the reviews and just want to clarify my stay and my experience! First off, the hot tub has been upgraded from what the post shows, looked brand new actually. Secondly, one of the reviews said something about a roach on the counter, there is absolutely NO bugs in this home. Lastly, check in and check out was a breeze! Everything was clean, neat, and more than we expected. We will most definitely book again!

Family trip

Very good location to attractions, esp. Pigeon Forge. The neighborhood itself is a bit run down, but you only notice it when driving in and out. Felt safe. The cabin itself was wonderful--clean, well stocked, and attractively decorated. Three full baths and the jacuzzi tub were very nice. The hot tub needed some major attention. More water, cleaned, & clorinated. The game console hooked to the TV did not work. The TV for the hot tub didn't work. Overall a good stay and would stay again, but a few things could be improved with very little effort to make the stay a 5/5Overfooverhdideeallwork.

Close to the action and hidden away at same time!

It had very nice amenities to enjoy. Just a hop, skip and jump off the main drag. Was easy to get out to enjoy anything you might want. It was quiet a step up into the house from the covered patio and many steps in the front door. By adding a ramp it would be easier for entrance..

We enjoyed ur cabin. The neighborhood is kinda slummy but that’s not ur fault. Thanks for being attentive to the problem we had. There is some mold forming in the shower.

Really nice!

Really nice place to stay with no problems what so ever, at no fault to the owner I forgot about how I would be entering the home and sent a message and a message with said entry was provided with in minutes! Definitely would stay again!

Good Cabin Bad Location

Cabin was great. Location is sketchy. First two nights were quiet. Third night there was open gunfire from the neighbors; heard 3 shots and peaked out the window, several more gunshots take place between two neighbors. Packed our bags immediately and got out of there because we felt unsafe.

Looks can be deceiving!!! Started out as a nice getaway only to be ended badly. Stayed our first night and really the only issue was the ice maker didn’t work and was empty and the tv at the hot tub didn’t turn on. Fast forward to the next morning cooking breakfast when a cockroach crawls across the counter. And if you see a cockroach crawling around while you’re cooking there are more in the house. Contacted VRBO and the Host. Only thing the host offers is to spray or set traps while we are gone. I ask for a refund and get told “no money back for one roach.” WHAT???? Everyone knows that we’re there is one roach there are more. I am not gonna let my family stay in a home with cockroaches crawling around. Still waiting to hear back from VRBO to see if they are gonna do anything to help!!!

Fantastic location!

This adorable place had everything we needed plus thoughtful touches. Very nice location just far enough away from the chaos but close to conveniences. Very clean, well put together and comfy. Thankful it had great A/C! Plenty of space for a mom and 3 teens. Definitely will stay here if available next visit.

Quick Reunion

Stayed 2 nights to reunite with my fiancé’s two boys. Listing was better in person than listing. Everything was clean, nothing was missed…we had everything we needed aside from food. Hot tub was clean and very usable. One thing from a previous review about the hot water…I’m sure the water temp was turned down due the previous guests negative comment. Water could’ve have been a little warmer in the shower, but exceptionally pleased with everything!! Would love to stay again!! 😀

Not what it seems

The property was unkept, could not get to the pond on the property, the hot tub was not filled or cleaned but it was running, the step to get into the cabin was really high. A safety hazard. Flies and mosquitoes inside the home, daughter was bit multiple times while sleeping. The ice machine on the refrigerator is broken, the hot water is scalding hot needs to be turned down. Wifi given was not even an option to choose from. The area that the cabin is located in is not a pleasing place. Had someone who lives in the area doing burnouts from 5am to 11pm. Also tried to communicate with property owner by calling and message and he could not be reached or returned and calls or messages. I would NOT recommend wasting your money staying here!!

If a Hot tub is important, don't stay here.

The cabin was nice enough, I did see some housekeeping issues but nothing major. I read before arrival that communication was a problem with owner, and messages sent to him were never returned so you're on your own. The poor reviews on the Hot Tub are VERY accurate. It is old, less than half the jets worked and it was FILTHY. It had what I can only guess was dead skin particulate, and the water was so murky you could not see the bottom. It also did not have any treatment chemicals used to clean it. If you want a small cabin that is close to attractions, then rent away, but if a hot tub is a deciding factor as it was for us, then run away fast and far!

Communication is important and there was zero!

This property wasn't cheap and I had planned this trip to take my family to Dollywood for Easter weekend. I tried to message them twice about extending Sunday (Easter) since I wanted to make my fam brunch and heard zero back. Then when I saw the weather was going to be bad that weekend I was thankful that I chose a property specifically with a hot tub for that very reason. I noticed a March review that stated the hot tub seemed unusable so I, again, messaged the owner about it and heard zero! I know things happen but communicating to a customer who is paying you a significant amount of money is crucial. The property was great but because of the "don't give a crap" attitude about concerns, I will not book here again.

Disappointing!

The hot tub was completely unusable. When we removed the cover to the hot tub we were immediately overwhelmed with the smell of mold/mildew. At first, we thought maybe it had just been awhile since it had been used or that the smell was coming from the cover itself. However after allowing the hot tub to run awhile we noticed a film in the bottom of the inside. The hot tub actually had mildew or mold growing in it! The smell filled the cabin after only having the tub running 30-45 min so much so that we could not sit in the bedrooms. The outside of the hot tub was also broken. There was also trash outside behind the cabin, their were dirty dishes in the cabinet, and ants all over it the kitchen counter. Also only one day of the games in the game room worked. I attempted to reach the owners several times during our stay, but no one ever responded or attempted to contact me. This is very frustrating and unprofessional. I do not recommend.
