The Ozark Retreat is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath lake view, private home. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen and a twin. The fan lit, wrap around deck has comfortable seating and a beautiful view of Norfork Lake. Enjoy the campfire pit out front or BBQ on the back patio.
The Ozark Retreat sits above a secluded valley, just an easy walk or drive down to the lake. We are located on a natural cove, perfect for fishing, swimming and exploring. Just 1 mile down the road, you will find a public launch ramp and swim beach, along with Fout Boat Dock offering pontoon and waverunner rentals. Located only 16 miles from the city of Mountain Home, AR, this home is private yet conveniently close to all the services you may need.

The place was perfect for us. It was affordable, quiet, and comfortable. The nearby marina rents slips for relatively cheap which was an added bonus for us. The kids loved seeing the newborn fawns.

Clean cabin for a a good price. There was even banana nut bread waiting for me when I got there. I will stay there again since it is close to my family.

This place was immaculate as far a cleanliness goes. So many little extras were provided. It’s the perfect little hideaway right by the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. The banana bread was absolutely amazing.

Just the perfect place to relax! So peaceful. Fun watching the colorful chickens in the yard. Also, the wild turkeys! Beautiful setting. Very clean, quiet, and comfy! Priced reasonably. What more could you want or ask for?! Homemade banana bread, too!

Cindy was awesome! Great communication from first day of the booking! The house was perfect, as described in the booking. Very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and with towels in the bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Peaceful and quiet setting. The game room was an added bonus. We hope to book again for a family fishing trip in the Summer.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay in our 4 bedroom home, the Heights Lodge, because of your arrival date change. To be clear, the Ozark Retreat does not have a game room but, is a lovely home also.

Dream home away from home.

The property was great as always. The house had everything you could need an more for a comfortable stay with great views. Also the friendly neighbor deer an turkey were great to see.

We moved to Norfork Lake from Las Vegas, NV in 2005. We were looking for a more family friendly place to raise our son and, boy, did we hit the jackpot.

The beautiful setting, abundance of outdoor activities, convenience of local services and general good nature of the locals make this a perfect place to vacation. Fout Boat Dock is just 1 mile down the road offering pontoon and waverunner rental, plus there is a COE swim beach, play ground and boat launch ramp.
