The Ozark Retreat is a charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath lake view, private home. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen and a twin. The fan lit, wrap around deck has comfortable seating and a beautiful view of Norfork Lake. Enjoy the campfire pit out front or BBQ on the back patio.
The Ozark Retreat sits above a secluded valley, just an easy walk or drive down to the lake. We are located on a natural cove, perfect for fishing, swimming and exploring. Just 1 mile down the road, you will find a public launch ramp and swim beach, along with Fout Boat Dock offering pontoon and waverunner rentals. Located only 16 miles from the city of Mountain Home, AR, this home is private yet conveniently close to all the services you may need.

An awesome property. Beautiful setting tucked away with beauty and peace. Enjoyed watching the deer and hummingbirds. Property was very clean and comfortable. Property owners were quick to respond. The homemade banana bread was delicious!! Easy access to lake.

The best host!!

The property is amazing! The setting is very quiet and peaceful. Inside the home is spacious with all kinds of charm. The hosts are the most amazing people though!! They helped us in a pinch twice in one day! These people are the best!

Came to the area with wife and child to visit parents. The cleanliness of the cabin was outstanding. Exceptional hospitality and super comfortable cabin with a beautiful Ozark lake view. Looking forward to our next visit. Very satisfied! Excellent property.

FRIENDS GET AWAY

We enjoyed the house. It was clean and everything we could possibly need was provided. Not fancy schmancy but very comfortable, homey and affordable.The lake was easily reached for a day of relaxed fishing from the bank. I can't describe how peaceful it was with no traffic sounds, just an occasional boat motor.

Annual Family Lake Trip

This is the perfect lake place! Lots of deer to see right outside your door! Short walk to the lake if you want to fish or get in and swim a little! This is our second year staying here and we love it!! Won’t stay anywhere else!

Great place!

my boyfriend and dad went up for the weekend on a fishing trip. They were very impressed with the home as well as the location! They said that the owners were extremely helpful and available for any needs throughout the stay. We will be going back as a family next time!!

Worked great for our purpose

Just needed a place to sleep a couple of nights. Didnt do any cooking but seemed to be pretty stocked dish, pans,cutlery, ect. It is a trailer, but nice size with add on. There are some places that slope a bit, like the hall way. I was told the back bedroom bed felt like it was a bit down sloped, so they just fliped to the foot of the bed. The other bedroom could use room darkening shade or curtain like the one window has. Otherwise we slept well. The deck was great, super view and lots of deer. Walked into a fresh baked banana bread which was a nice addition to our cold breakfast. Would stay again if in the area.

Natural beauty

There was a beautiful view of the lake. The weather was beautiful and we were able to sit on the deck any time of day. In the mornings and evenings it was not uncommon to see deer in the yard. It was easy to find and easily accessible with our boat. The hosts were very friendly. Shawn was patient while my father in law talked his ear off and Cindy came right over to see if she could help my mother in law with the TV while we were out fishing. If we find ourselves headed in that direction again, we will definitely be looking for this property’s availability again.

A get away that was needed

Perfect place to be quiet and relaxing. You couldn't ask for any better hosts. Shawn and Cindy are fabulous hosts and the wildlife goes along with a fantastic view.

Fout Boat Dock is just 1 mile down the road offering pontoon and waverunner rental, plus there is a COE swim beach, play ground and boat launch ramp.
