This renovated farmhouse (2020) is nestled back in the foothills of Stokes County with breathtaking views of Cook's wall and all the privacy for a relaxing get-away. The older homestead built in the 1800's still stands on the property. The Lucky House's sister home, Treetop, is next door (yet allowing plenty of privacy between the two homes) and sleeps 8 if you need more room for your guests. Treetop's Property ID# is 3934130 and is also available to rent on it's own.
This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom home sleeps 6 and is just minutes from all that Stokes County has to offer including Hanging Rock State Park, Moore Springs Manor, and historic Danbury. Explore the outdoors with hikes to the waterfalls, tube the Dan River, rock climbing and much more!
Pilot Mountain State Park is also just a short drive away. Wi-Fi streams all you need on a large smart TV in the living area. New (2020) refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, range with oven, microwave, master bedroom and bathroom with beautiful tile shower and double sink vanity, and an outdoor patio with gas grill and fire pit to relax after your day. Wake Forest University and downtown Winston-Salem are a short drive from The Lucky House. Enjoy the revitalized downtown Winston-Salem or King areas with dinner and live music and one of our local tap houses, StoCo Provisions or 1889 Taphouse. Several local vineyards are also guest favorites. Try JoLo Vineyards, Flint Hill Vineyards and Pilot Mountain Vineyards.

Such a great location to check out the trails at Hanging Rock and all the scattered little towns in the area. We drove to Mayberry and it was well worth the trip. It was such a cute town to walk, shop and see some history.The house was perfect for a family get together. From the spacious kitchen area to the firepit to the views outside, everything was just perfect!

Awesome place, plenty of room, quiet, met out with needs being close to family and friends. Nicely decorated for Christmas, which made it feel like home.

We had an amazing stay. The property and surrounding views were beautiful. The hosts thought of every little detail and were very easy to contact throughout the booking process and during our stay. We highly recommend this property. We hope to visit again!

The host were amazing. They answered all my questions quickly and were very friendly. The house is cute, stocked with everything you’ll need but the yard- Wow it’s amazing if you are looking for relaxation.

The host was available, answering our text. Everything was in order with very clear instructions. She made us feel right at home with a gift box of snacks, etc. and a personal welcome note. We highly recommend this rental property. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay!

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The property was super clean (most important to me when renting!) We enjoyed the view, roasting marshmallows & playing Yardzee. We also took in some hiking and spent one afternoon swimming at the lake. What a perfect pit stop for my family on our way to the beach.

Perfect Getaway

This house was perfect for us. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. The location was perfect for visiting Mt Airy, Pilot Mountain State Park and Hanging Rock State Park. I look forward to staying here again.
