Our 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin is the perfect base camp for those looking to reconnect with nature. Nestled on 43 acres of woods, our cabin gives you a taste of peaceful country living.

Hike, tube, and explore. We're located steps from the Dan River, 3 miles from Hanging Rock State Park, and 20 miles from Pilot Mountain State Park.

After a long day, unwind with stunning views from our deck or cozy up around the built-in fire pit.

Fly into Greensboro International Airport and arrive at the cabin in less than an hour. The trip from Charlotte or Raleigh Airports will take less than two hours.

Our cabin was very clean and spacious and had a beautiful large back deck overlooking a field. Our host Jane was pleasant and helpful. We would stay here again!

Loved the sitting on the drck

We had a very nice weekend getting together with family we hadn’t seen in a while. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck, chatting and enjoying all the trees.

Mountain Weekend near Hanging Rock

Enjoyed our visit - cabin was very clean and perfect for our two families. Enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and hiking at Hanging Rock (Cabin is very close) and traveled into Winston Salem for Saturday night. Great time!

Wedding weekend

Beautiful cabin. 10 out of 10. Would stay here over and over again. Family came down for the weekend for a wedding at Luna Trail. Was not far from the venue. Located right at Hanging Rock Park which we enjoyed on Saturday.

I’ve been to the property before and it didn’t disappoint on this return trip!This property is extremely well managed. There was an issue with the AC but upon arrival the manager informed me that service was on the way. The repair was handled within an hour of our arrival. Thanks so much for a second wonderful visit!

Family get-away

What a great stay we had! We were looking for Covid privacy and distancing and that's what we got! It was great! The cabin was clean, functional for our needs, and relaxing with the comforts of home. We really enjoyed the close hiking at Hanging Rock and cooking in, playing games and relaxing. Thanks for sharing your lovely space with us!

Retirement Celebration Trip

Poor weather prevented us from enjoying the deck and fire pit, but we thoroughly enjoyed cocooning in the cabin. Only problem was lighting the gas fireplace. Recommend that the hostess light the pilot, so all that is left is turning the fire on.

Family time

We stayed here to be close to my family. It was quiet and safe. We were a bit disappointed that the surrounding property wasn’t necessarily a great place for our kids to run around and explore, but they did eventually make a path into the woods close by. The cabin itself was well-stocked with cooking utensils, very clean and a great place to stay! Our family fit comfortably and it was very child friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend!

Relaxing weekend with Family

Our trip to Danbury, North Carolina, to visit Hanging Rock State Park, was wonderful. The house is beautiful ... just as advertised in the VRBO listing. The house is comfortable -- large living room, well-stocked kitchen, huge primary bedroom, large deck overlooking the mountains, and a very private setting (with only one other house in the neighborhood ... however, it was right across the street from the VRBO house). The town of Danbury is very small, however there was a nice little coffee shop, and a few local restaurants. The house is only a few minutes drive to the entrance to Hanging Rock State Park. The house is also close to multiple companies that rent tubes to drift down the Dan River.All-in-all, my family had a wonderful three night stay in the house. I would recommend this house for a quiet relaxing stay.
