absolutely loved staying at the VistaView cabin over the mighty Mississippi. It was perfect for what we wanted--a nice secluded place for the two of us to reconnect and relax. The cabin really is perfect for two, but there's sleeping room for more as well. The hot tub is amazing and great to sit in and watch the sunset. It rained two days we were there and yet it was still great! Just curled up with some books, played games, and relaxed. Thanks so much!

The cabin was beautifully decorated and was very comfortable during a hot week. Enjoyed the hot tub on screened in porch which overlooked the river.Just wish there were signs for cabin because there are some turns and curves and phone lost signal on way to cabin.Lots of beautiful views and towns close by to explore.

Thank you for your lovely review and we're glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately we aren't able to put a bunch of signs up in the neighborhood. Luckily many neighbors up there would be happy to help folks find their way if needed. Most guests do have decent cell service in the subdivision but the valleys on the way can definitely have some dead spots. Welcome to life in the country!

The property was exactly as it appeared in the listing, and then some. The view is absolutely stellar, and the chalet is extremely cozy and very well laid out functionally. Everything you would need is provided except the groceries did you bring them with you. You feel like you’re in a different world when you’re sitting on that deck and looking out over the expensive valley to the Mississippi. Very special find.

We know the trend is now to have listing sites use AI to enhance photos but we chose to opt out of that, as we feel stronly about presenting an accurated depiction of the property. Highly recommended property! Such a cute little place overlooking the Mississippi. Hot tub was so relaxing, even in the -115 temps! The Hosts were amazing and very prompt and courteous in their communications. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic weekend enjoying the beautiful view. Although we had a rainy weekend, the space was so wonderful to stay in. We loved the ease of using the hot tub and spent a lot of time staring out the windows and watching eagles and hawks and turkey vultures glide across the sky. The only change I would recommend is updating the cooking utensils - the nonstick pans were not usable due to flaking off of nonstick coating, the knives were very dull, and one of the cutting boards has plastic flaking off. Even in spite of those challenges, we would still recommend this stay to others!

As others have mentioned, the photos do not do this property justice. It is absolutely stunning!! We are already planning on returning next year. The Goods: Views, cleanliness, the hot tub, decor/aesthetic, bed was comfortable, shower(s) were great. Everything you need in the kitchen. The wildlife. Sunsets are incredible. The rules of the house were some of the most simple I've ever encountered when booking a rental property. Made the stay much more enjoyable without having to worry about the stress of the checkout process! Things to note:The driveway is extremely steep! We had our Suburban an enclosed trailer with a motorcycle in it. We made it work, but it took some thought and a good strap to keep the trailer in place when not attached to the vehicle. We had to use 4 wheel drive to leave at the end of our stay. Still worth it though! The outdoor grill could be updated, we were nervous to make burgers on it, but it did great with steak! Storage area for dry food was limited, it wasn't until the very end of our stay that I found an empty cabinet next to the fridge. We ended up using the top of the fridge to hold our food, but I would have liked to have it put away, as to not ruin the aesthetic of the home. It was so beautiful!Next year we will be booking more days to just enjoy the house! 10/10 recommend. Thank you for hosting us. We look forward to returning. This was an amazing property with an amazing view. The description of the property was spot on and Todd and Donna were very responsive. We will be staying at one of there beautiful properties again.

Views are stunning!

Pictures of the view at this property don't do it justice!! This cozy chalet is absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub is wonderful. Property is well maintained, very clean, lots of amenities for anything you need. HIGHLY recommend staying here! We hope to be back!

Beautiful view!

The cabin was so cute and clean. The beds were so comfortable. View from the deck was beautiful and the screened in porch was added bonus. We will for sure stay here again. Highly recommend!
