This was a wonderful house! Perfectly located near downtown San Mateo and close to the train station. The house was clean and the host were kind and responsive!

Great stay!

Cute place, great layout for our stay. Convenient location and very nicely stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were exceptional, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

This little rental was perfectly located and neat as a pin. The rental is, I believe, one of two or three in the house (which seems to be typical in the area). So the parking and back yard sitting area are shared. The property is only about a third of a mile to downtown San Mateo, with some shopping (including Latino markets and a Walgreens), and a CalTrain stop. In addition, there are quite a few restaurants, including Japanese, Chinese, Taquerias, a couple of pizza joints, and a really good breakfast place (Bay Watch).There was a Safeway grocery store a little over a mile away.My husband and I rented electric bikes, so we were able to get around very easily. The area has great infrastructure for bikes.Importantly, the CalTrain has bike cars where you can secure your bike against rails with built in bungees - and the trip into San Francisco is only 15-20 minutes.We did not use the clothes washing machine and dryer, but that would be terrific had we stayed longer than a week.The kitchen was well-appointed, including a Keurig and an electric hot water carafe, along with a dish washer.The little front yard was fenced, and could easily accommodate a small dog.The only thing I wished we had available would be a bike rack in the back of the property where we could have locked up the bikes - but we made do.

The property was great! The washer dryer on site were extremely useful, and the 2 beds couch were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the pots, pans, utensils, etc. that we needed too!

Clean and comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay. The only challenge for us was the parking. We have a midsize SUV, so it was tricky to back it into the garage. If you have a sedan or a smaller vehicle it should be much easier. We were glad there was a garage as street parking was very crowded. Good Host!!

Birthday surprise for daughter

Very clean property, close to downtown area. Very quiet and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. Would recommend staying here.
