COZY Merlot Cabin- Great family cabin in Hocking Hills, centrally located.

X Beautiful family cabin surrounded by a white pine grove that sleeps up to 8 people with 3 queen beds-- one on the main and lower level, and 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed in the loft. Well appointed, fully-equipped kitchen and a cozy gas-burning fireplace in the spacious living room. There's also a rec room downstairs with a pool table and Pac man to enjoy. Free WiFi!

After grilling out on the huge wrap-around deck with the propane grill, enjoy the beautiful surroundings a new, relaxing hot tub on the covered deck. Maybe even enjoy a roaring campfire at the outdoor fire ring.

To make your stay worry-free, all linens and towels are provided. All you need to bring are your personal items and food for a great time!

Wonderful stay love it

House was absoluety beautiful ,quiet relaxing enjoyed everything about would of lo ed to havd a bon fire unfortunately it rained almost every night. But so wonderful cant say enough.

Hocking Hills - a great place to stay

Family Weekend

Great cabin and location. Had a great time with my adult children and grandchild. Hot tub and fire ring real winners. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, bathrooms were clean, overall great stay. Will stay here again

Girls Trip

This cabin was above and beyond everything we could dream of. We had such a relaxing 4 days between the three of us friends and especially the hot tub every evening before closing in for the night. The place was spotless and very accommodating. We will definitely be making this a yearly visit.

Perfect size for our group

Cabin was a great size with good bedrooms, bathrooms and nice size common areas. The basement was a great hang out space for all. The fire pit with seating was nice too. The only small negative was the location as it was right off the main road and the traffic was somewhat noisy during the day, but that was not a deterrent. We would stay here again.

Birthday Weekend

We had a lovely weekend at the Merlot Cabin! The kitchen was well supplied for all the cooking we did, and the cabin is comfortable and beautiful! Location was great for the park and trails.

Great weekend!

Long weekend with family to hike Hocking Hills and zip line. Cabin location was perfect and the hot tub was appreciated after hiking all day. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed.

Amazing cabin weekend

My family had such a wonderful weekend away at the cabin. Very easy to find off the road, gorgeous property and outdoor games like tetherball and space to roam. The inside of the cabin had everything we needed, and the rooms were clean and comfortable for night time. We would love to return to this cabin again next year.

Hiking in Hocking Hills

The Merlot was excellent. Perfect accommodations for our group of 5. Proximity to Hocking Hills was very good. Wineries were good. Camp fires were good. Good times had by all. Will plan to return in 2025😀

Nice family-friendly cabin!

Lovely cabin, very well stocked kitchen, nice modern bathrooms, comfortable beds and furniture. We only had 4 people but 8 could be comfortable. Teens enjoyed the game room! Restaurants available within 10 minutes.

Girls weekend

Loved the little cabin in the woods feeling. There was plenty of room and we didn’t feel crowded, and there were even dvds there so we had a movie night. It’s a great place to stay.

Gorgeous area with lots of wildlife!

We had a great time at the Merlot! We were constantly seeing all kinds of critters around the property- deer, frogs, butterflies and all kinds of birds. Beautiful area and beautiful home! Very clean and hospitable.

Thanksgiving weekend

We rented the cabin for the Thanksgiving weekend for our family celebration. Location is good, although a little close to the road. Cabin was clean, comfortable and decorated very nicely. The pool table and video games in the basement is a nice addition. We enjoyed the cabin very much.

Girls Fall Getaway!

Perfect place for a girls getaway! We enjoyed hiking at Old Mans Cave and Rock House and some R & R with a cozy fire in the fireplace. After our hikes we got in the hot tub, and got out feeling relaxed and pampered! The 3 levels gave us all our own space when we wanted to chill out and have some alone time to unwind. We will definitely come back here - it was my favorite HH cabin and I have been coming for more than 20 years!

Perfect location and setting!

Right off the highway for convenience, yet nestled into a pocket of woods with all the wildlife you could hope to see. Sitting in one of the many rocking chairs on the wrap around porch one morning we watched the deer graze while drinking our coffee. Very peaceful! Clean! Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was a great way to end the night after all our exploring with the kids. Definitely will stay again as there is so much to do in the area.

Can’t wait to come back!!

We have stayed in a lot of condos/houses for vacation and this is by far the most well stocked place (especially the kitchen) we have ever been in. And it’s perfect for kids. The Pac-Man and pool table brought me back to my childhood growing up in the bowling alley when my parents were in a league. Not to mention all the other toys/games. We had a wonderful time especially since this was the first vacation in about 10 years that my oldest son could join us. I would love to come back in the fall when the leaves change :)
