Hickory grove cabin is a peaceful getaway nestled in the hocking hills and you can enjoy all that the seasons have to offer. Enjoy the secluded hot tub on the spacious porch with someone special and snuggle by the fire with a glass of wine for that romantic evening or just enjoy fishing in your own private pond. The property is located on 8 private acres with a private fishing pond with a fountain. Relax near the fire pit and roast marshmallows.
There is a single-ring doorbell facing the driveway. Please include all guests when making your reservation.

Wonderful

The cabin was great. It was very clean and organized. The hot tub was large and right next to the door. The view on the deck was awesome overlooking the pond. Very secluded area and great bird watching!We didnt need to contact the host because the directions were perfect. Would stay again 100%!

Charming and private

Adorable, secluded, clean and well-maintained cabin. Loved the hot tub and fireplace. Beds were comfy. Grandkids had a great time, and were complaining that they didn't want to go home! Kitchen and living room area could use more light--kind of a strain for my "old lady" eyes.

Wonderful Christmas Holiday

The cabin was perfect for the five of us over Christmas. It's located close to all the major hiking areas and had everything we needed and more, including bird feeders and a lovely pond. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Guys Retreat

The location and setting for a weekend of disconnecting from the world and being surrounded by wilderness and camaraderie. The cabin was beautiful and tranquil. We didn’t want to leave!

Weekend hiking trip

Cozy cabin with peaceful surroundings, great fire pit. Close proximity to several hiking trails. Would visit again and recommend to family and friends!

Most amazing relaxing getaway

This was the greatest place I have ever had the pleasure to stay at with my husband. It was so relaxing and comfy. The place was so clean and private. The owners put a lot of attention to detail including making sure the bird feeders were full so we could sit out in the hot tub or deck and watch all the wildlife.

Great location

The house was fine and the location was great. Some suggestions: The water pump in the pond was loud and drowned out all the nature sounds the woods would provide. A light above the kitchen sink would be helpful Tissues would be helpful, although paper towels &/or paper towels work.

Exceeded expectations!

This property is immaculate and exceeded expectations! I booked this property just to try something new as we usually stay at the Hocking state campground(50 year tradition for my grandparents) The host communication was unmatched as well as the property. My grandparents are hesitant about trying anything new but actually wanted to return! We had an amazing time by the fire, the wrap around porch is so beautiful, a deer even greeted us when we first arrived which was great for the kids. We will definitely be returning. The host was even so kind to make sure a lost pair of keys is being returned to us. She left a couple snacks for the kids. All in all there isn’t enough room to rave about how amazing our time was. Thank you again Cherie! We will definitely be returning ❤️❤️❤️

Retired Ladies Get-away

We loved everything about the property. It was exactly as advertised, beautiful, and perfect for our needs. The only thing we had an issue with is that the beds were a bit saggy and creaky, and we did not get the best nights’ sleep.

Holding hills trip

Peaceful and Relaxing

The cabin and grounds were very well kept. Very private property in the woods with a relaxing pond and fire pit area. The cabin was very clean and plenty of space.

Place of peace

Celebrated my 60th birthday with a quick weekend was able to get this place for two nights. We were gifted seeing a doe, fawn and Buck on the ridge…it was beautiful. We played the money game which was fun and set clues for the next guests! Everything you need is there… we would definitely recommend… the hot tub was amazing!

Awesome cabin!

We had two families come together for a weekend. We started this tradition last year and LOVED this cabin. It’s great that it was on one floor, fishing and a fire pit around the property to keep children busy. This is our first time trying out this cabin and it was perfect! Our only mutual complaint was we wished they offered a bigger trash can. With 4 adults and 3 kids (two in pull-ups) we filled the can so quick and so often. Other than that it’s the perfect get away. The host were awesome!!! We scheduled it and had some vacation/work discrepancies and they were able to move it easily for us. We didn’t need to call them, but they have on the fridge that makes it welcoming to call them if needed which makes you feel secure staying there. Whole cabin was clean when we walked in which was also great too! We recommend staying there if you have a chance.
