Wonderful location with great view of the lake and walkable to the village. Lots of sleeping space and fun 'daybed' set up on the sunporch which is an excellent nap spot. Road noise was a bit loud during the day, but slows down at night and not an issue at all. Cafe 1958 is super convenient and not to be missed!

It was a great way to end our anniversary/vacation in Maine. We loved being close to the Village and the lake.

Beautiful setting

Waterfall cottage is compact but set up perfectly for a few people or a group! Beautiful weather allowed us to sit outside and visit before a fun wedding weekend!

Village Camps on Long pond

We periodically visit Long Pond and a myriad of relatives in Belgrade Lakes. The camps are perfect ! On the lake, Village Inn and Sunset Grill, Days store just a walk away. Been coming to the region for 50+ years and it never gets old.

Peaceful and Relaxing and Pet Friendly

Best sleep ever next to the waterfall! Beautiful sunsets by the fire pit and an indoor fireplace, too! Really terrific cabin. Water is filtered lake water, so bring jugs for everything but showering. Plenty of gear to enjoy the lake. The host is generous and responsive. We love it here!

Great family time

We had a great time together at the cabin. The cabin location was an easy drive to Colby College for our daughter's graduation. It was rustic (as advertised) and a relaxed easy space to spend time. Because of weather, we did not utilize the water and yard space and activities, but that is not a negative about the property. Great fun!

Perfection on Long Pond

We can't say enough positive things about our stay at The Waterfall Cottage. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and communication with the host was superior. The cabin is well-appointed with everything you could possibly need, and then some. Day's charming country store being steps away is a real bonus! We loved everything about our stay, and wouldn't change a thing! Thank you, Zinke family, for sharing your little slice of lakeside heaven with us!

Waterfall cottage review

Overall excellent. A few minor details: There were a few tiny ants at the kitchen table. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 kitchen trash can liner? No soap or shampoo for the shower? bath towels were sparse.

This place is magical!

I cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was! My husband and I were a little weary of how much of a “vacation” it would actually feel like, having our 2 year old and 8 month old in tow, but we were pleasantly surprised with how relaxing our trip was. The cabin was cozy and well equipped. The sound of the waterfall was soothing, Proximity to town very convenient and best of all its lake front property provided endless entertainment for kids and adults alike. Best of all the dock was a prime location to take in a different breathtaking sunset every day. Long Pond is truly a magical place! Neighbors were friendly and Amanda was great to communicate with. Thank you Zink Family for providing us with great memories with the kids :)

You have no idea how much it means to us when families fall in love with our lil slice of heaven and appreciate all it has too offer. Thanks for kind words. I have enjoyed our home BEFORE babies and AFTER. Whats best is Our babies now 8 and 10 (sons) spend summers on GOLDEN POND and it only gets better every summer. Great in town Belgrade location on Long Pond

Rustic and charming, could use some simple interior upgrades - new couch cover, fresher towels and wash cloths. It was a warm weekend and we chose not to use the fans that were dirty and should be cleaned or replaced. We learned after arrival that the grounds to the lake were part of the community property and not private to our camp. Fortunately there were no other camps rented during our stay, otherwise we would have been sharing a fire pit, picnic table and open space.

The property is exactly what we were hoping for and expecting! A beautiful little cabin within walk of Belgrade village and with a wonderful dock for enjoying our stay! We could not have been happier!

What a wonderful perfect place

This cottage on the lake was absolutely perfect! Just right to unwind for a couple of weeks. Swimming, fishing, kayaking…it as it all!

Cozy Cabin Next to Town

We loved this little cabin on the water! The location was great. Something to note, I think it would be more accurate to call this a 2 bedroom home and loft with an additional 3 beds but those areas do not have the privacy of a door. It's a cozy cabin perfect for a small group, we really enjoyed our time and the comforts of home while we were there!

Quaint cottage at great location.

This is a very small cottage with a drop down set of stairs for access to the second floor. 3-4 people would be fine, anything more would be too tight to manage. Location is awesome with nice docks and waterfront access. You can easily walk into the small village for breakfast. While you can hear cars and trucks going by, at night the sound of the dam’s waterfall is very soothing. Overall we enjoyed the cottage and bass fishing.

Really nice spot

Super cute cabin feeling cottage. Lots of nostalgic furnishings etc.. Great fishing. Nice neighbors. Walking distance to town and food.

Great place

Great location close to town but also plenty of room. Nice to have the boats and the dock to use. Inside of the cabin is very quaint. Everyone loved it.

Absolutely beautiful!

Was everything we expected and more! Beautiful waterfront, close by hiking trails for the dogs, canoe/kayaking, birds/nature and pure relaxation! We will definitely return!

Maine Charm

Loved the Waterfall Cottage! Belgrade Lakes is a special place and offers a wonderfully relaxing experience. The Waterfall Cottage is the epitome of a New England lake property experience. It is a welcoming and very efficient space in a great setting. Amanda is very responsive and helpful and provides any and all information you might need. Will certainly return for another visit !!

Classic Belgrade Gem

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Waterfall Cabin and it won’t be the last. We love the proximity to Day’s Store and everything in The Village. Being right on the water is a bonus and something not to be taken for granted. We appreciate everything about it. Thanks for opening up your home!
