The house was perfect for a long fall weekend. The deck and Adirondack chairs on the lawn are perfect spots to sit and watch the sunset. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Thank you for hosting us.

We had an excellent stay on the lake. The property is beautiful and the house has everything, with great views from all 3 levels. We would love to stay again!

This was a repeat stay for our family at this property and we once again have no regrets! The variety of indoor and outdoor spaces provided options for any desired level of activity, and the lake view from pretty much anywhere on the property leaves absolutely nothing to be desired; it’s simply beautiful rain or shine. Allowing pets must be a hassle for a host (it’s clear that this home is loved by the hosts), and we are grateful as guests that we are able to visit with our whole family to enjoy such a great space in such a beautiful setting.

This is our second stay at this home. It's spacious and comfortable. The location is beautiful and very convenient to Colby College campus. The view of the lake from the house, deck, backyard, and dock is lovely. We were able to use the provided kayaks and had a nice paddle. The host is very communicative. I would definitely stay here again if I visit the area.

We had a fantastic week at the lake house! The location is perfect! We really enjoyed the yard and beach entry to the water for our little ones. The dock was a good fit for our ski boat and well maintained. We enjoyed the many amenities including the supplied stand up paddle board which allowed guests in our party of all sizes to explore the lake. The house had plenty of room for our family and a beautiful deck overlooking the water where we ate the majority of our meals. We absolutely loved this house and hope to visit again next year!

Matt accommodated our evolving vacation plans… and even managed us locking ourselves out of the house. The place is truly lovely. The pics are accurate. Hope to schedule another visit to this well cared for and beautiful property.

We loved our week in this house and cannot wait to go back. The location was perfect, with easy access to the lake, and the house was extremely comfortable, having everything we needed. The host was easy and quick to communicate with. Very highly recommend this property!!

Oakland is a great town. Additionally, it is close to several grocery stores, Walmart, and others. Many rentals are far some similar necessities.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

You can see the lake from all three floors. Two large decks overlooking the water provide ample space and the lower deck is covered to keep you dry in inclement weather. The walk to the water is a gently sloped lawn to a sandy/pebbly entry to the water. There is a sizeable and sturdy dock that can host two boats. More than all this, it brings our guest peace.
