Our apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful El Born district of Barcelona’s Historic Centre known as Ciutat Vella.
It’s on the doorstep of the magnificent Picasso Museum and MOCO, Barcelona’s new Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Chocolate Museum and the Ciutadella Park. It’s a 5-minute walk from the beautiful palm-fringed marina and the cathedral, a 10 minute walk from the Ramblas, and just 15 minutes from the beaches that led to Barcelona being crowned Nº1 Beach City in the World by National Geographic Magazine.
The apartment has a floor area of 90m2 and provides real home from home comfort and every luxury to make your holiday accommodation extra special. It has high speed fibre optic internet at 100mbps, duck down duvets in winter, a Nespresso coffee machine and a home cinema system.
It is spacious with open plan areas in the living room & kitchen/dining room. It has high vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams and French windows leading out onto little wrought iron Juliette balconies.
It has a landline, a breakfast bar, a split-level spa-style bathroom with a huge shower cubicle. It even has a secret door!

We had a great stay. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the apartment is in an excellent location in the Gothic Quarter. It’s within walking distance of many of Barcelona’s main sights, restaurants, cafés, and shops, which made exploring the city very convenient. A great location for a stay in Barcelona

Love this area and the owner was super supportive. Great place to bring our family of 4 with two children. Youngest was 4 less than 8 yrs old. Had a great time.

Great location in the Gothic area. Apartment was clean and great for our family. Be aware that a cab can not drop you right at the apartment and there are stairs so be prepared with your luggage. It's completely manageable but just something to know. We LOVED the location!

Great place and experience!
The apartment was such a great place and it made the overall experience in Barcelona better! To stay in the gothic quarter and interact with locals was amazing experience!

Great apartment in spectacular area
El Born is such a great area of Barcelona to stay in, and the apartment was in the perfect location. It was very nice, and the hosts very so helpful and welcoming. I would highly recommend the place for anyone visiting Barcelona!

Loved the location.
Hofman Bakery was a must stop EVERY time we went home!

Excellent Place & Location
The property was very well-appointed with comforts of home. It is close and walkable to restaurants, tour buses, grocery stores and pharmacies.
The property comes with maps, things to do, recommendations, and is prompt in answering questions.

Amazing property and location!
Kay, Christine and Sarah were all amazing to communicate with. Everything was super easy from a late check-in to check out. The location was amazing with the majority of everything within walking distance including Barceloneta Beach. Some of the best restaurants in Barcelona are with a 5-15 minute walk from the property. We would absolutely stay here again. Kay and Christine, thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great location and space
Spent about a week in Barcelona and this was a perfect location, we walked to almost everywhere we went. The apartment was clean and well stocked. The host was attentive and my family and I really enjoyed our stay!

Hello there! The first thing I should probably tell you is that I came to Spain on holiday for 2 weeks and stayed! I guess the sun, the cuisine, the culture and outdoor lifestyle all had something to do with it. The fact is I’ve never stopped enjoying the things I love here. After some time I moved from Valencia to Barcelona and have worked throughout that time as a teacher and translator as well as a property manager now too of course! My life is busy and diverse and also involves making regular trips back to Scotland, where I was born. I feel really lucky to live in such beautiful places - I love the contrast between the two. Nevertheless, be warned! If my own experience is anything to go by and you do decide to come here on holiday, you may end up staying a bit longer than you bargained for!!

Quite simply – it was love at first sight. The Born area of the city centre is utterly magical and this was the first and last apartment I looked at. I often walk through the gorgeous winding streets and alleyways surrounding the apartment with their myriad boutiques and terrace cafés bathed in sunlight before heading back to the apartment and sitting in the peace and quiet of the living room, soaking up the beauty of it all and thinking - yes - this is the essence of the place I love. The Born has become even more charming and beautiful since I bought the apartment in 2003 and if I could come back to Barcelona now and see it all again as if it were the first time, it’s still this apartment in this part of town I would hope to find.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
Firstly I would say it's the location. It’s right in the middle of the most historic, beautiful and happening area of the city with the benefit of being nestled in a quiet pedestrian-only side street, which is just a 15 minute walk from the beach. The apartment itself has the perfect contrast, so distinctive to Barcelona, of seamlessly blending old and new; design without compromising on comfort. Having the award-winning Hoffman bakery (best croissants I have ever tasted) just around the corner may also have something to do with it though! Or it might be the proximity to Cal Pep (delicious seafood) or Bar Pla (delicious everything)! Most likely though it's a combination of all of these things and coming in through the front door after a day out, sitting down, kicking my shoes off and relishing that wonderful sensation of feeling totally at home in a foreign land.
