We enjoyed our weekend stay in this lovely home. It was clean and the beds were comfy. It’s only a few miles outside of Lansing, so it’s a quick trip into town for whatever you need. It says to bring your own bedding on the listing, and they remind you before check-in as well (very helpful if you overlooked it). We’d stay here again!

We had a great stay! Check-in was easy, the fully equipped kitchen kept meals easy and we were far enough out of town for peace and quiet but close enough to be able to run grab a coffee and donuts

Great spot for a getaway

Great property, well kept, very clean. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Great for fishing trip

Perfect place to stay for our fishing trip. Very close to the boat ramp and landing. Close enough to bigger towns if you do happen to need anything

Convenient and Comfortable Getaway

We had ample room for 2 couples. We brought our boat and enjoyed 2 days of fishing and taking in the beauty of the Lansing area. Enjoyed this property very much.

The house and property fulfilled our needs and expectations. It was clean and comfortable and sits in a quiet and beautiful setting. Nearby Lansing is such a quaint and fun town with unique shopping experiences and good bars and restaurants. Being in a river town was a new experience for us and we’ll go back!

A Very Nice Place

Pleasantly surprised by how modern and upgraded the place was. We all loved it. Great location. Owner was very prompt and helpful in his response. Highly recommend.

Aunt Max

My aunt and uncle live in Harpers Ferry. We flew in to visit with her. Country side is beautiful and a short drive to her house. Loved every minute we were there hated to go!

The house is large and cozy. There were more than enough utensils and cookware. We had 2 boats, 2 trucks, and a car. There was plenty of space in the drive to park. I would recommend it.

Harpers Haven

We loved our stay at Harpers Haven. It was the perfect location to get to the local trout streams. The house had everything we needed and more. The area is quiet and the view from the deck is beautiful. The house is much larger than it looks from the outside or pictures. They even had an air mattress that fit perfectly in the walk in closet. It was great for the 13 year old for a little extra privacy. Everything was very clean and we all enjoyed it!! We would definitely stay again.

Located well in a beautiful area!

Our stay was great. The property is very nice. They were having trouble with their Hulu account. Luckily we were still able to use our Netflix. They may want to revisit their cleaning crew and SOPs on trash disposal. Garage area oils use some extra attention as well. Location was great and overall the house is very nice.

We apologize for the inconvenience with the television as we had lost power which reset the Hulu account. This has been rectified. Also, with regard to trash, we have established a policy to avoid back-to-back bookings on the same day to allow our cleaning crew appropriate time to clean the living spaces as well as dispose of trash off site. We have addressed this situation by refunding your cleaning fee. We are glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay and hope you visit again.

It was a very nice place. It was clean, spacious, and a great place for the kids. My main complaint is that the description did not seem as clear as it could have been. The fact that you had to bring your own linens was hidden at the bottom of the page and barely mentioned, and all the pictures had made beds. If linens are not included, the pictures should show under beds.

Perfect place!

The location and accommodations were absolutely perfect for the fishing tournament we were in. Heath answered any questions I had immediately! Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place

The owners answered all my questions. They even got back to me if I had a questions while at the property. I was reading a book on the holy spirit that they provided. What a powerful book. You have a great property that I recommend anyone to visit!

Peaceful

It was an easy process, we had to drive to town for firewood even though it stated they had limited supply. It was very clean.

Firewood may be available in limited supply. When it is gone, it’s gone. The firewood supply is a woodpile located on the backside of the property on the hillside. Guests are able to use it if they retrieve it and if it’s dry.

Wonderful stay!

The house was exactly as described/pictured. Very clean. All beds were super comfortable. Large deck was great for dinner and drinks. We will stay here again for sure!
