Lookin for a reel good time?? Reel Paradise is scenic oasis in the town of Lansing, Iowa and it is just like it sounds— it is Reel Paradise. This river-side getaway is the perfect space for your next family vacation, Mississippi River fishing trip, or boating adventure. This property features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a screened in porch, perfect to watch the sunrise and sunset. This house comes fully equipped with kitchen plates, pots/pans, utensils, laundry, and linens-everything you need to feel at home! Enjoy using the gas grill and fire pit on the front patio of the home while overlooking the river. A fishing dock/boat slip is also an amenity that will be provided for your stay at no cost at all. There is a pet fee of $40 (please no pets on furniture). If available, there is a $40 early check-in fee, if you want to come before the 4 pm standard check in (2 or 3 hours).
Disclaimer: This property has a railroad track nearby that will need to be crossed when going to/from the dock.

This is a beautiful, well-kept home right on the river. Having a screen porch to relax in and enjoy cooler evenings was wonderful. Loved having a dock to pull the boat up to.

nice property overall. Ability to clean fish was very nice. Property has stairs which was mentioned clearly and not a big deal for our group but may be for others. Convenient to bait shop, overall very good.

This property was great for our needs. The screened in porch was a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weater and breeze without being in the direct sun. The trains were a joy to watch pass by and were not loud or obnoxious at all. The owners were friendly and allowed us to use their bigger fishing pole and some live bait. We had all we needed in terms of dishes, cooking utensils and pans. It was very sweet of them to leave a bottle of wine for us to enjoy as well. We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Reel Paradise! We surprised our mom for her birthday with a stay at this beautiful home. We woke up to beautiful sunrises and a great view of the Mississippi River. Would definitely recommend a getaway at this property.

This was a perfect place for our low-key weekend. I especially appreciate the small things that make it welcoming and easy - the towels, dish soap, shampoo and soaps in the bathrooms, etc. Those are always a pain to pack and always a toss up if they are included. The hosts were very responsive to helping us with the fire pit. The hammocks were amazing- the house was roomy and comfy. We will be back!

Great views and location on Pool 9

We’ve stayed here before and will again. This is a great place for a family getaway. New boat and fishing docks are excellent. Very spacious, clean and enjoyable accommodations.

The cabin was clean, the scenery was beautiful, the entire stay was great! Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your place. It was so clean, kid friendly, and plenty to do. We enjoy coming out this way every year for the fall atmosphere and will be back!

Lakeside Family Retreat

Great location! Very clean, true to photos, and all amenities listed were available and easy to access. Comfortably fit 7 adults (two couples, 3 singles) and 4 vehicles. Would stay again!

Relaxing River View

The property is a peaceful and relaxing place on the river. Very clean and updated and owners super accommodating. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful VRBO overlooking the river

We loved being able to use the private dock to dock our boat and also playing cards in the screened in sun room.

Reel Paradise almost

Wonderful property, beautifully equipped and extremely clean. The location was beautiful in terms of the views, but there were too few local restaurants nearby.
