Sorry to hear about your issue, I wish you would have inquired or simply realized that excessive use of the main floor fireplace was overriding the thermostat. I looked back at the thermostat history and saw that it reached temperatures as high as 78 degrees in the main room. So it looks like excessive heat kept the thermostat from coming on and heating down stairs properly.

We appreciate having guests that are experienced and can change batteries when needed. As a host, it is frustrating when guests get to the house and you find out that they haven’t read the listing to know what we have or don’t have. As stated in our listing, we are on satellite tv and satellite internet and are NOT set up for streaming. HughesNet recommends downloading movies during off hours to watch during prime time. We do have a cell boost in the house and have no problem with cell service (Verizon) if you don’t wander too much. We also have a house phone if needed.. Unfortunately, some guests do not read the listings and expect the same creature comforts of home while in the mountains- that unfortunately is not always possible. Our house is three stories so yes, our house has stairs. For convenience because we are on a mountain, we actually have steps outside as well as inside. I went to the house upon departure to check the wifi and satellite tv and everything checked out fine. The direct tv tech said delay issues were a result of multiple users attempting to stream at the same time. All three TVs had the surround sound disconnected and one was on the wrong input.

Hi Dale, I apologize for the inconvenience and would have been glad to refund you. Our community well and tank recently had maintenance after the extreme cold spell and when it was placed back in service our filter system did its job and the backup filter just needed to be placed in service. This was an abnormal occurrence and I wish you would have called me per the house instructions I sent you. The tablets for the septic system are something I do monthly for preventative maintenance (not the guests) and since you took it upon yourself to choose what to try I gave you guidance, but you mentioned nothing about the water. I will definitely followup on the water heater setting as it had been turned off during well maintenance and should be on the ‘A’ setting. Please read our reviews, this was an unfortunate abnormal occurrence.
