Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway tucked away in the mountains conveniently located between Cullowhee, Lake Glenville, and Cashiers. This 3BR/3B mountain home is perfect for families visiting WCU or for those simply looking for a mountain escape with lake access only a few minutes down the road. Three levels allows for a couple families to share the house, but still have privacy when they need it. Two spacious decks with rocking chairs/porch swing to take in the stunning views. Hot tub is located on the deck along with a dining set for 6 and a SoloStove Firepit with seating for 6. Fully equipped kitchen for large family gatherings!

We really enjoyed our weekend in this darling house. It was easy to get to, no 4-wheel drive needed. No scary turn around. The house is super private. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights. Everything we needed was there; plenty of dishes, towels, shampoo, seasonings, etc. There is a nice view from the decks. Our host, Bradley, was very accommodating and didn’t even get annoyed when I asked for the w-Fi password, which was on a very large magnet on the refrigerator. Just be aware that there are no bedrooms on the main floor, so you must be able to go up and down stairs to get to them.

It was just what we were looking for our anniversary trip. House was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stocked perfectly. We have stayed in a number of VRBO’s around the country and this is in our top 5. They answered the few questions we had very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Weekend!

This property was perfect for our stay. The property boasts some wonderful amenities and is located in a very quiet neighborhood.It is located halfway between Franklin, NC and Cashiers, NC. There are wonderful hiking trails that lead to amazing waterfalls all around.

A beautiful relaxing mountain house that has everything you need!

This house is perfect! It was very clean and had everything needed for a perfect stay. We enjoyed our time here. It is a gorgeous house in a gorgeous area. It was very peaceful. Bradley was extremely easy and pleasant to work with while booking and our stay. I would highly recommend this VRBO!! We will definitely be back!!!

This is the place to stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Amazing on every level! Such an amazing experience for me and my family. Plenty to do just at this beautiful house on it's own. The view was amazing the home was gorgeous and fully equipped for large or small groups. The rock quarry was a fun place for the adults and kids. We definitely would rent again.

For the price this cabin was perfect. clean but not perfectly clean (inside kitchen drawers are dirty) patio was very dirty but beds and baths were clean as well as kitchen surfaces and fridge. I MUST mention that the hot tub was perfectly clean and in perfect working condition. Patio furniture could be much improved but at least they had some and it was clean enough to hang out on.Driveway was great and very flat and you could easily park and turn around. A very dog friendly property and the driveway as well as above driveway is good for dogs to go to bathroom. the neighborhood is very good to walk dogs in and very very pretty.Extremely rugged drive up to house from main road but fine in summer . 20 to 30 mins from groceries or places to eat. If you drove all day to get there, then make sure to get groceries before you arrive so you dont have to go back out that night.The view is 5 star and the patios are great but lacking good furniture. Beds in basement were good but master bed on third floor was bouncy with dent in middle. The guest bed on 3rd floor , we did not use. Showers and bathrooms were good. The house is 3 floors so lots of stairs but privacy on each floor for big crews. Old appliances but worked well. No ice maker so buy ice. Lots of utensils and tools for kitchen.A.C. worked well and the tv's were ok. No tv on third floor for 2 bedrooms . Pool table was great and appreciated. We paid like 330.00 per night and it was well worth it! very fair price.

Beautiful Mountain Home

Beautiful Mountain top home! Amenities were great, house was spacious and very comfortable for a big family! Lots to do at the property, hot tub, pool table, games and great porches to take in the scenery. Driving was a bit challenging the last couple of miles (one lane road and a bit steep) but it was so worth the adventure! Loved the experience. Would definitely recommend. Host was very responsive and great communication!
