Completely renovated in century home nestled amongst beautiful gardens, a spectacular inground, heated pool and picturesque views of Osler Bluff & The Blue Mountains.

Come discover the warmth & authentic charm of this exquisite century home, impeccable decor and large bright windows. Comes fully equipped with everything you need to make your vacation a comfortable and enjoyable one. This open concept home sleeps four and features cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, sunken living room, 1 full bathroom and 2 half bathrooms, porcelain & hardwood floors, propane furnace, air conditioning, satellite HDTV and WIFI. A beautiful covered porch uniquely designed on the 2nd floor is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and evening sunsets. Guests also have exclusive access to the private heated inground pool, featuring a cabana with wet bar! The cabana is equipped with a fridge, stove, & cooking utensils - perfect for cooking on the outdoor BBQ. The pool area features outdoor lighting providing the perfect balance of illumination & ambience in the evening. There is also a changeroom/bathroom conveniently located beside the cabana.

Guests can also enjoy a private trail that winds through forests, meadows and ponds. The trail is located on the property and can be used for hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing. Difficulty level: Easy

We are located less than 10 minutes to downtown Collingwood, 15 minutes to The Blue Mountains & Interwest, 15 minutes to the beautiful sandy beaches of Wasaga Beach, Wasaga Casino and just 10 minutes to the Scandinavae Spa!

We are close to many winter activities including downhill & cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, snowmobile trails, and the popular Nordic Centre at the Scenic Caves!

Guests are asked to bring their own linen and towels.

Check-in time is between 4:00 - 9:00pm (unfortunately we CANNOT accommodate early check-ins). Check-out time is 11am.

Please note: the pool is closed and will re open for the season on June 12 2026 and closed on September 15 2026

Had a wonderful getaway with my mother and little one for a recharge. We enjoyed the pool every day and loved eating outside where we had a view of the collingwood mountains. Very comfy beds, we slept like rocks! Great place to go as a family.

Property was exactly as described. Grounds and property are beautiful and very well maintained. Super clean inside and out. The pool was amazing and also very clean and well maintained. Host was super kind and helpful. Entire stay was simple, seamless, exactly as expected, comfortable, and relaxing. Zero complaints. Highly recommend. We plan on visiting again.

The house was great, worked well for our family. On the last day we noticed the in garden speakers which was nice. The trail around the house was really nice to walk once we found out where to access it! There is another VBRO at the back of the property and the front half of the house is also another VBRO property. (The house is sealed off and split into two). But the house was still very comfortable and private, with beautiful views, It was nice to be out of town but still a very short drive to get to most places.

This entire property is stunning! We travelled with our two young kids, and it was absolutely perfect. We watched sunsets from the upper deck, took relaxing strolls down to the pond, and somehow ended up swimming every chance we got.We’ve never stayed until an 11:00 a.m. checkout anywhere we’ve visited before, but this time we stayed until the very last minute because we simply didn’t want to leave.The interior is incredibly thoughtful. I studied interior design, and the buckled headboards, textured spindles, curated artwork, and stunning wooden beams all earn an A from me. Heck—even the bread basket has a horse carved into it!Well done, John. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We’ll definitely be back.

Great stay

Our third time here and even though the weather wasn’t the best, the house and garden were so peaceful and enjoyable! A gem of a place, and the pool is always delightful.

We had a wonderful vacation. The house and property are kept so clean. The pool is kept at a perfect temperature and was greatly enjoyed. We hope to be back next summer.

Beautiful Property and Friendly Hosts!

Had a great time staying here, my wife and I tried to spend as much time in the pool as possible. The property was very clean and it is clear that the Rentners have put a lot of love and work into making the property feel as comfortable as possible. We would gladly stay here again and hope to do so in the future!!

Idyllic Location

Beautiful location and the accommodations were warm and inviting. The outdoor facilities with pool, kitchen and deck made this a perfect summer getaway! I am already planning our next stay!

Great stay

As a family we have come here for 3 years. Every year we enjoy it, the property is gorgeous and the location can not be beat. John is fantastic to work with and quick to reply if you have questions.

Very Enjoyable!

We stayed at John and Cheryl’s log cabin last year and it was amazing. This year we decided to stay at their two bedroom. Different views, same relaxing atmosphere and incredible property. We would definitely stay again!
