Exquisite Log Cabin Retreat- Perfect Couple’s Getaway! Tranquility at its best❤️

Very private custom crafted log cabin nestled on scenic surroundings overlooking a beautiful spring fed pond and picturesque view of Blue Mountains.

Come discover the warmth & authentic charm of this exquisite log cabin, impeccable decor and large bright windows. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to make your vacation a comfortable and enjoyable one. The cabin sleeps two and features an open concept, fully equipped kitchen, living room, full bathroom, hardwood floors, airtight wood burning fireplace, high efficiency propane furnace and air conditioning. Satellite TV/DVD and BBQ. There is also a fire pit beside the pond to roast marshmallows and enjoy a quiet evening under the stars. (Guests are asked to bring their own wood)

Guests can also enjoy a private trail that winds through forests, meadows and ponds. The trail is located on the property and can be used for hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing. Difficulty level: Easy

We are located less than 10 minutes to downtown Collingwood, 15 minutes to The Blue Mountains & Interwest, 15 minutes to the beautiful sandy beaches of Wasaga Beach and just 10 minutes to the world renown Scandinavae Spa.

Guests are asked to bring their own linens (queen bed) and towels. NO PETS, NO SMOKING

Check in time is between 4:00-9:00pm (unfortunately we CANNOT accommodate early check-ins). Check-out time is 11:00am.

This spot is the most idyllic and pretty spot you could possibly find. It’s immaculately maintained and it’s just so beautiful waking up to your own private pond. A true couples retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The fire pit was a beautiful touch for summertime.

Wow! Property landscaping is beautiful! Perfect for a couple getaway. Quiet, secluded, gorgeous in July with the daisies in bloom. We always wanted to come back after our outings to enjoy the relaxation, birds tweeting, check out the visiting egret poking at the fish in the pond, and enjoy the calm surroundings while having our meals. Be sure to bring queen size sheets (pillows and pillowcases provided), towels and facecloths, as well as shampoo, body soap.

Our long weekend stay at the cabin was beyond our expectations. The cabin and property are beautiful and extremely private. It’s also very close to Collingwood. The host answered all questions in a timely manner and was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this property.

This was our second stay at the cottage and we'll be back again. It's our new go-to place for a truly relaxing weekend. The space is comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly like the wood burning fireplace and the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed both on the cool evenings we were there. The location of the cabin on a small pond and away from any other buildings on the farm makes you feel like you have the farm all to yourself. John made everything easy and was available if we needed anything, but he also gave us lots of privacy. We highly recommend.

Everything about the experience was an absolute pleasure. The home was ideal as a couple spending a weekend in the area. It’s beyond charming, extremely clean and well kept. Very private space on a beautiful piece of land and just a short ride to town. John couldn’t have been easier to work with. Highly recommended.

We loved everything about staying here. It is very private, clean and so cozy. The cabin has all the amenities you need and John was an awesome host. Situated close to downtown Collingwood and the Scandinave Spa. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. We enjoyed having a wood fire each evening. We would enjoy a summer visit to check out the pond, trail (we did get part way around the trail before the snow became too deep) and more of the area. The cabin was very well kept and impressively built. We had everything we needed to cook and noticed a BBQ outside (a little too cool for that on this visit).
