Nauvoo Country Cottage - Sleeps 12

Relax in the quiet of the charming countryside surrounding Nauvoo, yet be close enough to enjoy all the local attractions within minutes.

Nauvoo Country Cottage is located just 7.5 miles from the Nauvoo Illinois Temple. This cozy home sits on 3 acres giving plenty of privacy to your family or group.

There are 4 bedrooms, two with queen size beds and two with twin bunk beds. The bedrooms with the bunk beds also have lofts with full size mattresses. The lofts are great for kids or small adults and are enclosed with a secure railing. Must be able to climb a ladder to use the lofts. Two pack-n-play cribs also available for babies.

Reunions or large groups may use the yard for tents at $5 per person above 12. Keep in mind that the home is only furnished for up to 12 (sheets, blankets, plates) and there are only 2 bathrooms.

There is plenty of free parking onsite (campers and trailers welcome), and lots of area outside for kids to run and play!

Perfect Nauvoo Location

Perfect house for a Nauvoo vacation. Plenty of space, bedrooms and supplies. Well thought out extras as well. Short trip to Nauvoo, short trip to Burlington. We’ve stayed a lot of different places in Nauvoo but we will be back to this one for sure!

Overall good.

We're just a bunch of picky old ladies...well 3 of us were anyway. Just a few minor things like the sheets on the beds need to be replaced. They seemed pretty well used. Not thrilled about the step from the living room to the dining area. Yard looked pretty neglected but thankfully didn't have any children to play outside. Master bedroom floor has a definite sagging problem. Would liked to have had TV's in the bedrooms. Otherwise, the house was very clean and kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Will probably stay there again.

We’ll stay here again.

Property is removed from town just enough to be delightful but close enough to drive there within minutes. The home was furnished well. The grandkids loved sleeping on the bunk beds and in the loft. The queen rooms were perfect for the adults. The yard had room for the kids to play outside. Owner is easy to contact and very helpful. We’ll stay here again when next in the area. Highly recommend.

Comfortable home

We needed a home that could fit twelve individuals and this was an excellent choice. Aside from a cutting board, the home had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were newly remodeled.

Made Nauvoo trip special

Shared Vrbo with close friends family and it let us put our kids to bed while we enjoyed games. Comfy bed and owner was very responsive and easy to work with. There was some things we picked up in the yard but it was easy in and easy out. We hosted about 30 people one night for an Easter egg hunt and it was awesome for that. Will stay again.

Delightful

We arrived at our country cottage at night. Easy entry and spacious area. Beds very comfortable. Sheets exceptional. Total accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. The night sky was truly an added bonus. The birds were also exceptionally happy. Highly recommend it. Host was most accommodating.

This house was very comfortable and can accommodate a fairly large group. Everything was clean. Large eating area and living room. Located in a quiet area.

The perfect home away from home

House had all the amenities we could have asked for. Our stay was wonderful and Jordan and Morgan were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive when we had a question or a need. We appreciate their welcoming efforts. We hope to stay here again soon.

Little Slice of Heaven

Great communication and quick responses from the start! The house was perfect for our group. Great kitchen table so we could all eat together and play games into the night. They provided everything we needed plus more. The lofts were so fun and the 2 bathrooms were big. Very clean property and would absolutely stay here again.

Nice house in the Country

We enjoyed our stay in this older farm house. It is in a beautiful country setting which is only about 15 minutes from Nauvoo. The owner is responsive and cares about his guests.

Good place for the price

The owner was great to work with. The home was big enough to fit our group of 12 comfortably and had an open layout in the living room and dining room. The location was 10 minutes from Nauvoo. It was an older home and had stray cats that hung around the property, and the living room rug smelled like cat urine. There was also ants in one of the lofts and in the bathroom.
