Built in 1925 the Cody House has the charm of an older home with the conveniences of modern living. Located in the heart of downtown Cody. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and many popular tourist attractions, including the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. This family friendly property is the perfect basecamp for your trip to the Yellowstone/Cody area.
Spacious kitchen, dining room and outdoor deck make it a perfect place to gather and entertain.
Owners Sophie and Troy live close by, and will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have about the area.
Between the two us we have 40+ years of experience in the hospitality and guest service industry in the Yellowstone area. Sophie was a great host! Terrific house and location - easy to walk to the museums and downtown. Wonderful backyard and front porch for relaxing, and two large areas for eating. Amazing and well stocked kitchen :)

The house was amazingly clean, well thought out well decorated and exactly as advertised . Felt very spacious and I would encourage anybody looking at this home to consider that it’s an excellent place for even a large family to stay.We’ve used other housing apps in the past and this was our first VRBO try. Great home and perfect location to walking distance for Cody. Home was clean and had anything we needed for basic needs - even extras. We had an issue with the gas grill and the owner was very responsive - within minutes. We would stay at this home again.

Wonderful, family and group friendly house. Well- stocked kitchen, perfect backyard for BBQ and letting little ones run around. Very quiet street at night. Excellent responsiveness from owner/ manager. We couldn’t have been happier, and the house served as a sort of “ base-camp for other family and friends renting in Cody.

Best Road Trip topped off with a great house.

Cozy, yet large enough for my party of nine. Walking distance to the the attractions offered in the town of Cody.Our host was more than helpful with our stay. She offered to help in any way, but everything was more than we expected and we had no special request of her. If we had I am sure she would have been willing to handle any issue. Everyone in my party was more than satisfied with our stay at her house. I reccomend this property to anyone planning a visit to Cody Wy.

I am originally from Ipswich England, and my husband is from Lafayette Louisiana. We purchased our house when we first moved to Cody and lived in it for four years. At that time we were asked to manage a ranch between Cody and the Eastgate of Yellowstone National Park. Our job requires us to live on the ranch, but we are happy to have a home base in town during the school year for our kids. Especially when the weather is bad.
