Beautiful property! Spacious room perfect for an extended family vacation! Easy booking and check in process! Outdoor amenities were great and kids had a Blast! Loved the location! Highly recommend!

Great Location

Don’t expect a view

The property was nice but the 3 bedroom condo we rented left a lot to be desired. It was very dated and the views were overlooking the parking lot...that was a major bummer. We had a toddler who naps so we were hoping to be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view in the afternoons but that wasn’t the case at all. The unit was dated and comparable to a red roof inn or another lower end hotel in the states, so don’t expect any luxurious amenities. The lazy river was great and we spent many hours enjoying that. We went during covid so we were expecting it to be pretty quiet but that wasn’t the case. There were 2 days where we weren’t able to get any chairs around the pool- I definitely wouldn’t want to be here during a busy week. It’s VERY crowded around the pool and people claim chairs that sit empty for most of the day. The beach huts also her reserved days in advance so you will be lucky to get anything remotely close to the water. The poolside service was very slow and the food was edible but that’s about it. Overall we enjoyed our time in Aruba but we wouldn’t stay at the surf club again for the reasons mentioned. They were very good about covid protocols if that is something you are concerned about, although the guests didn’t seem as concerned.

We love relaxing and hearing the music from speakers along the route. The view from three bedrooms villas is designarted as partial ocean views because the balcony from the master bedroom and guest room do face the ocean; it's the studio bedroom that has view that is not facing the ocean. You are correct that the view from the studio is not as desirable. With regard to the resort being crowded, it is spring break and because the Surf club is such a family friendly resort, it has high occupancy during those times. We are disapppointed to hear that the villa was dated and in need of attention. We have passed your comments along to management and they are being taken under advisement. Beautiful Aruba!

We traveled to Aruba to celebrate my 60th birthday with my family. We booked this 3 bedroom unit at the Aruba Marriott Surf Club and loved every minute of our trip! The unit was spacious, well laid out and well maintained. The resort staff were helpful and very friendly. It’s not called “One Happy Island” by mistake! Booking the resort through VRBO was easy. The owner made sure to contact me to verify our reservation and advised me to also reach out to the resort.
