My family with three young children stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. It is so nice being at a place where it doesn’t feel like you have to leave to go enjoy RI. We loved staying here and playing with the games and reading the books and cooking in the kitchen. The backyard was great for sitting and hanging out and my kids loved seeing the crabs and shells and birds on the water. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and the kitchen is great. The bedrooms were super comfortable and bathrooms clean and with good showers/tubs. It was a perfect family spot. Borealis nearby was great too. We would come back!

East Providence RI

Our family stay was superb, the location is close to so many exciting attractions. We were in the area for a wedding and the house did away with any stress. The kids were well taken care of and safe. The owner was an absolute pleasure to work with, i would recommend this property highly.

Best-ever vacation home!

The home was perfect for our family vacation. Fantastic water views, family neighborhood, many activities close by. The owners are very accommodating and pleasant. The house is immaculately clean; the decor is fabulous. This will be our home away from home whenever we visit Rhode Island in the future! Thank you for a memorable week!

Quiet Comfort

Our college aged kids met us in Rhode Island for a fun week of catching up as we are now spread throughout the US. This comfortable house offered a private and peaceful setting with a beautiful view of the massive river, easy to get to, good restaurant options and a well stocked kitchen. The dining area with tons of windows was fun for family games and great conversation. We hope to return!

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful stay at Jen’s property! The house is beautiful, very clean, and has INCREDIBLE views! My children LOVED the playroom and we loved the beach and neighborhood. I would highly recommend the property, Jen was also very responsive and helpful. Be sure to pack beach shoes!

First Visit to RI

Home was easily accessible to Downtown Providence as well as "day trips" to Newport, Bristol, etc. Property improvements like kitchen & Master BR/bath were well received. Fully stocked kitchen. Future improvements, like outdoor deck, would add a lot. Personal decor, books & games, while helpful, reminded us we weren't in a generic rental, but in someone's home.

A week well spent

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. The water views from the kitchen and dining space were so beautiful. The beach access was super close and easily accessible. My young children loved playing in the low tide river. There was endless amounts of things to collect and find on the beach. The only negative of the beach would be the amount it broken glass. We spent a lot of time walking and picking up anything that looked remotely sharp. The trampoline and surf swing were a huge hit with the kids.

Beautiful home and gorgeous views!

Beautiful home with a GORGEOUS view!!!!! From all the bedrooms, the dining room and the kitchen! And actually even from the living room through to the dining room!!! Sunsets were amazing! Was very clean and extremely spacious. And really equipped with anything that you could need. Which is so gracious of the owners. Quiet. Lots of different birds in the backyard. And bunnies! Easy walk down the path to walk to the beach at low tide. Private back yard. Jen was very nice! Definitely recommend!

Its the view. The terrific view. I didn't realize until now that it was the view all along. Nicer than home. Great bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and dining room all with the lovely view. Quiet neighborhood. Walk down the beach to the carousel. Close to Newport with the Mansions and the ocean beaches and the Cliff Walk. Surprisingly close to Providence - Surprised by the interesting architecture of Brown University. Surprised by the RISD Museum "Make Tacos Not War". Surprised by Italian restaurants in Federal Hill, just minutes away. Surprised by coffee milk. Surprised by Olneyville Hit Dogs. Surprised by Rhode Island Clam Chowder.

Exceeded all expectations

My wife and I rented this house for two reasons: it was close to Providence where my son and granddaughter live, and it was on the water. The photos of the house and views looked terrific but as experienced vacation home renters we knew that you never know until you get there. From the moment we walked through the door, everything exceeded our expectations . The house has a large living room with cozy, comfortable couches and chairs. The kitchen is spacious, wonderfully designed and has all the gizmos to make a cook happy, The dining room is an enclosed porch room with large windows looking out over a small beach and and estuary that leads into the Providence river. It faces west into terrific sunsets, The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. Everything is new and modern. Yet it has an easy, lived in feel. Riverside is a sweet, quiet little town. Even though it’s 15 minutes from Providence it has very little traffic. Supermarkets and convenience stores are minutes away and there’s a terrific farm stand 20 minutes away. It’s close to Barrington, Warren and Bristol all with wonderful small beaches and great seafood. Jen is the best host I’ve come across. She makes sure the house is in perfect shape, gets back to you immediately when you have questions or concerns and has put together a terrific house handbook. I can go on but you get the idea. Needless to say, we’ll be back

Best views ever!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The house was immaculate and well stocked. We appreciated the comfortable beds, comfortable seating for tv watching, and the breathtaking views from almost every room. There is a bike path nearby for walking or riding and walks at sunset on the beach we’re a high light. Jennifer went out of her way to accommodate our needs and was lovely to deal with.

Foot steps to the sand.

Our family enjoyed a week full of relaxation, family bonding, walks on the sand, fishing and playing in the backyard. The home was spacious enough for the 6 of us. Will keep this beautiful location in mind for the future :)

Gorgeous view, family friendly

The view of the Providence River -- which you can see from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and even mudroom -- is so beautiful, a perfect mix of water and windmills for the grown ups, and birds, airplanes, and boats for the kids. The house is beautiful -- its architecture and design were lovely (the pantry inspires envy!) -- and the large front and back yards were incredible. In the front, we played basketball and did bubbles and chalk art; in the back, the trampoline was a huge hit with everyone. There's a great park (for kids on scooters or bikes) at the end of the street, and just a bit further is a long bike path. Barrington beach was just 10 minutes away, and there are tiny cute ice cream stands and hipster taco places and cafes nearby. It was a dream family vacation. Communication with the owner was also fantastic, as was the informative welcome packet -- and the house was appointed perfectly: it had everything we needed, from nice shampoo to paper products to lovely cooking staples (Maldon salt; maple syrup) -- but it also was so clean, well organized, and had plenty of open empty shelves for our things. A dream property for a family vacation.

Beautiful home, great location

The home was lovely with beautiful views from every room. The location was ideal. We went for walks around the quiet neighborhood with more lovely views of the water, walked along the beach, and went biking on the nearby bike path. It was an easy drive to Providence for restaurants. We brought kayaks/paddle boards and paddled from the house once when the water was calm and drove to other locations when it wasn’t. The home was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Stay

Loved our stay. Lovely home and a to die for view/situation on the bay. The owner was super responsive and this home is a fantastic venue for a fantastic Rhode Island visit. The foody scene and history of downtown providence is only 20 minutes, and the picturesque towns of Barrington and Warren, are also 20 minutes. Loved it!

Great house - Amazing views

We enjoyed our visit to Riverside. The house was clean and well appointed. The views are not to be missed - we enjoyed the sunsets and the sailboats in the river and walking along the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Did lots of activities within 35 -50 minutes (Rail explorers, Rhode Island Fastferry Lighthouse tour, Twin Rivers Casino and the Newport Car Museum), Definitely a great place to stay!!!

Fantastic Stay!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home with incredible views! We needed an escape from NYC and this was the perfect spot. Front row view to beautiful sunsets, an oasis of a yard, beach access and a fireplace for chilly nights. Rhode Island is beautiful, and this location is optimal- great to just stay at the house or head out to explore the many quaint towns nearby. Our hosts were great and very responsive- we’ll be back someday for sure!

Great place, great location

Beautiful home with gorgeous views and access to the Providence river. Home is well appointed and comfortable. Clean, bright and lovely. The backyard provided endless entertainment watching bunnies, birds and marmots. The walk down to the beach/river was wonderful and a perfect spot for sunsets! Highly recommended!
