Custom built cottage is private and quiet. Just ten minutes from Round Top, TX. The Rosebud is a 569 sq. ft. cottage in the peaceful, country setting of Briar Rose Ranch in Ledbetter, TX.This is a romantic getaway or restful retreat. A full kitchen, den, dining room/sun room make this a very special place. Full bath with claw foot tub; casual and cozy, The Rosebud is one of a kind. A 160 sq. ft. covered porch with outdoor seating, rocking chairs, bistro table and chairs add to the charm and space of the Rosebud. Pasture views, complete privacy and farm surroundings create the most restful of stays.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was just perfect for a relaxing day after Round Top's craziness! And where else can you get fresh eggs brought to your door! Loved the adorable cows, sweet horse, and abundant wildflowers!

Charming cottage in the country

I felt right at home in this charming cottage! I loved being close to the animals in the pasture. The cottage has everything you could need, and then more. The hosts were easily reached, and very considerate. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a country getaway!

A great place for total relaxation

From the moment you walk in through the front door you can feel all your stress just starting to melt away. My hubby and I came here so we could attend the Round Top Antique Event and found this sweet little cottage to be in the perfect location, away from crowds and cars. Without any hesitation we will be back and it doesn’t have to entail the antique event, just for some good ol’ fashioned R&R.

Perfect every time

We love the rural environment and cozy cottage Dough and Lori offer. They always have a xtra touches that are rare to find in a short term rental. My husband and I always check with them first when we are coming to the area to try to rent this little cottage.

Round Top at the Cottage

The cottage was a great place to stay while my friend and I visited Round Top's Spring Show. It was a short drive to and from where we needed to be. Lori and Doug were both great! Lori was very communicative. Doug helped us get our bags in and showed us around. We enjoyed the front porch and seeing the chickens and cows every morning. I would recommend the cottage to anyone staying in the area!

Serenity in the Country

This is our second visit at the Rosebud cottage. We love to stay here when we come down for the Round Top Antique Fair. It's so nice to come to this quiet little cottage after a busy day around a lot of people. Thee owners provide so many thoughtful touches from toiletries to bottled water. If you are wanting a trip to pound out some online work and Zoom meetings, this wouldn't be a good choice. The internet has very low service. This is more a place to find peace and quiet. We love it!

The only two downfalls to this property is no shower, tub only and no wifi. Other than that, it was a very peaceful property.

Cuteness Overload

My husband and I wanted a place to stay around Round Top that would allow us to get some piece and quiet after a long day of shopping. This little cottage was perfect for that. The Tipps were warm and inviting and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The porch was perfect for coffee drinking and there is an enclosed porch as well, another vantage point for the most perfect sunrise. We hope to stay again. The cottage is charming all around.

We absolutely loved staying at this property. The owners were always a text away and incredibly friendly. I wouldn’t change a single thing about our stay! Quick but very enjoyable

We enjoyed the little house very much. The accommodations were very warm and inviting. We loved the chickens and the resident dog who kept us company on the porch. We were close enough to shop and later have dinner in Round Top. Perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Lovely home in the hilly country!

My mom and I so enjoyed our stay at this little gem of a place. The setting is idyllic and the decor, detail and overall hospitality here was exceptional! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. This little country house offers all the charm you could hope for and is a must see!

Farm house
